Palworld - Everything you have ever wanted from a Pokemon game

Don,t what grind over for fucking stat again…..
You can reduce the meteor/supply drop cooldown to farm them. I personally reduced it to 1 hour a while in so I could get the Xenos and Selyne within a reasonable timeframe (needed quite a few since Xenos can't be bred from other pals, so I had to go the Yakumo passive-sync route) but it also gave a couple of stat boosters whenever it rolled a supply drop instead.
Once you're done with everything but stats, you can always just set it to 1 minute and grind that out real quick. Doing dungeons or raids for them is nice and all, but it does get a bit boring to run them hundreds of times for all the lotuses, especially since the expedition that gives them also takes too long to be useful on that end.

There will be no price increase for 1.0,

I'm going to be setting up the server tonight, so I can have it ready for launch at 00:00 EST on Friday.

Edit: Not comfy with giving Admin permissions out due to only one admin password being shared.

Between this and the lolsuit keeping PalWorld at least somewhat relevant, it’s practically a lay up in terms of easy PR.

Do I think they’re going to hit the high player counts they did in the initial Early Access? Hard to say, but as long as they don’t fuck the dog and have 1.0 be completely broken on launch they should be fine. Though I’m willing to bet we see a spike if Gen 10 comes out and is somehow even rougher than Gen 9 was on launch

It's up. 64.31.18.242:27133

Keep in mind everything you do on the server will be wiped at 00:00 EST Friday.

I've disabled global pal imports, and my settings right now are insane.

I hadn't played Palworld for several versions. Apparently SteamIds of users are now publicly exposed to other users on a server. I can't host the server in good conscious knowing this, given the site's reputation and the possibility of your steam/psn accounts being linked to your forum accounts, or your presence on the forum.

Apologies, but I've taken the server offline.

Comments are a mix of people thanking them, Nintendo fanatics sperging, and people demanding the Body Type A/B be changed
genuine question how is this a bad thing???? like what is making these people see positive news, then proceeds to sperg out like "AAAARRRGGGHHHH I MUST BE ANGRY AT A GAME I NEVER CARED ABOUT, UNTIL I SAW IT ON TWITTER!!!" like dude how miserable do you have to be to genuinely care about something you have no interest in at all, like it's all on them to continue to pay 70$s for rushed pokemon games and low-quality moba games with terrible launches, is there a phenomenon for this? cause im actual gob stopped by how childish those tweets were:lossmanjack:

is this game still good haven't heard of this shit in so long
it had a few collabs and qol changes, plus a bunch of patches through the years, somehow certain "people" are mad at that?
nintendo fanboys
even though its actually doing pretty well for a "Bootleg ark clone" that actually has a lively environment instead of being actual bland the grind is still somewhat boring midterm like for gold, hexolite and palsteel but would probably change with 1.0 and it might feel even lively with those eco domes, if you still have a save i recommend deleting the save and then going through it again, also its mega fun when you play with people

One thing that's surprising me is the amount of people mad at the suggestion that they should start over to experience the new content as intended.
Yeah, that's really weird. I'm looking forward to starting over. I'll "have to" rebuild my bases and such. But that also means I get to rebuild my bases and such ... using what I've learned throughout playing the game over the past couple of years, and hopefully using new stuff I find in 1.0.

What's the big fucking deal?

Also, this is standard fucking procedure for early access games. You'd be a dumbass for trying to roll a 2018-era Factorio factory in the newest build of the base game (even without Space Age enabled, your shit's still gonna break). Why would it be any different here?

NGL, I think that's people trying to ragebait or being plain retarded.

Most, if not all, Alpha/Beta games going into full release which're Open World outright go "You SHOULD start a new save for our big(gest) updates", Palworld is also insanely generous with things like Global Palboxes which're retardedly huge so you can move all the pals you bred and put hardwork into into the box and then grab them in the new save (I have a bunch of rainbow passive, 100point pals in my team which I will be transferring).

I think some people are just made about grinding for the legendary weapons only to lose them. But they implied there’s been a fair amount of refinement to the gameplay, so grinding may be a lot more balanced and everything.

I also did get myself a Zoe with three diamond skills that I’m annoyed can’t be saved in the palbox, but meh.

Is there a way to transfer them to a new 1.0 save, officially or with third party tools? It's been years since I touched the game, and I want to transfer the tower bosses I captured.

A game that I played last year had an open alpha which was just there to iron out combat mechanics. The last Alpha build was released a week before the main release, and the main release had a completely different map and world layout from the alpha with all of the quests and character dialogue rewritten to penalize players for relying on foreknowledge from the alpha.
Want to skip a step and head straight to a dungeon instead of doing the new quest line for the old NPC who would lead you there normally? Great. Turns out the army he was the sole survivor of actually did make a difference this time. Enjoy fighting a lich at full power without his phylactery partially damaged. You don't even know what to try and hit. First questline BTW.

Skip straight to the previously twist "final boss"? Sure, enjoy your ending, he was brainwashed by the big bad who wins without you even knowing it until NPCs and companions start acting weird and randomly attacking you.

If nothing else there's a mod (Creative Menu) to let you spawn Pals with your exact desired specs. Obviously it's "cheating" but if you're only using it to "install" something you already earned into a new world instance, I dunno that I'd ultimately call it "cheating." And if it's a solo world/single player, cheat away anyway! :story:

I'll willing to bet that current mods will be incompatible with 1.0 initially. First, the signatures for UE4SS are going to have to be found. Then who knows what changes have been made to class names.

This kind of behavior can always be whittled down to simply: Ego.

In this case, it is Nintendo fans who have made being a fan of nintendo a personality trait. Therefore, its part of who they are. And any attacks, threats, or insults against who they are, due to their immaturity, act out in very entertaining ways.

Shame they cannot see how a game like Palword creates competition, which is good for them as consumers. Competition makes those who wish to compete, better. Those who have not had competition up to that point, who finally then face it and can not rise to the challenge, throw fits or quit. I consider Nintendo throwing a fit with their lawsuit nonsense, but that is just my silly opinion.

Stepping back from my opinion, from a perspective of copyright law (which is a whole can of worms) I can see why Nintendo sued for certain elements, despite I really think if Nintendo pulled the Palworld devs aside (maybe they did? I do not get into gamer drama that much. I even somehow missed the entirety of Gamergate. I was fucking gaming dude, not on twitter....) they would have worked with Nintendo to make the finer points that led to lawsuit moot.

Nintendo still refusing to sell Palworld on their systems says a lot to me. They could be making quite a buck from Palworld sales, and it likely would not take away from Pokemon sales at all.
