That’s too niche for them. Most will only remember very general facts from the Civil War, maybe a bit of Jim Crow (but not the Reconstruction era that came before that), and WWII.

Unless you make it into a tv show or movie, for most of these types, even that’s being generous. I’m pretty sure these types of people only know of the Regency era in the U.K. due to Bridgerton and Jane Austen. You could make a cool tv series of that time period you’re mentioning, and it would likely be the first time these people learned of Custer.
