I never watched the anime, looked boring tbh. It's a problem you run into when making game stuff into movies, shows, and others. Cause if it reminds me I could play the game it's about over watching it and I play the game over watching it, is it a failure or a success?

Impressive.
The 2nd part of the anime before a 2nd game.
Lmao.
Its not really a second part. Seems theyre just using the edgerunners brand to run anthologies. Pondsmith must have realized he was sitting on an IP that was just waiting to make him a pile of cash beyond niche game books and a game.

Seems like Pondsmith made the right call in 2012 to go with CDPR. Even if the game was broken at launch, the cyberpunk universe itself is truly fascinating and it’s unique setting can tell many kinds of stories, from near apocalyptic westerns via the nomad POV to the high riding elite lifestyle of Night City & the near earth orbit residents or the hardship of day to day life of a ordinary Night Citizen.

Also considering the Witcher 3 is receiving another DLC after a decade of its release, I wonder if CDPR will surprise us all and release another DLC pack to build up anticipation for Cyberpunk 2 & keep interest in the franchise alive. I’m all for it. Can’t go wrong with more cyberpunk.

I’ve heard rumours about a final DLC for Cyberpunk 2077 that may act as a holdover until Project Orion is completed. There are a lot of things that could be explored, and I’ve done a full out of bounds exploration of the world map. There is so much empty space available that surely they’d be able to add something for fun. If the rumours are true, I hope they figure out a way to open up modding for console players, or at least give us the option to play around with game settings.

To elaborate, I would like to see a game mode that allows us to ramp up the chaos by messing with gravity settings, or traffic speed. Hell, give us the option to make every NPC hostile not only towards you, but everyone else. Call it “Chaos mode” or something like that as a new difficulty. Imagine having to complete tasks while the entire city is basically in an open free for all civil war. It would be frustrating, but the amusement factor alone would be worth it! Have random meteors fall from the sky and shit too because why not? Fuck it. Apocalypse mode. Just straight up apocalypse mode. Have four horsemen randomly running around fucking up everything in their path…

Hey, a bloke can dream…

eh the anime banks itself on the gore and game mentions to carry itself.
seems to be a thing of the studio but what you can expect from anime... seeing animeniggers running the cope defense for during the bugpunk period was fucking saddening, seeing the gayniggatry towards the game because of the S2 is disgusting to say the least because i can smell the paid jeets.
Hey, a bloke can dream…
as long as they don't nerf shit and buff things instead.
I WANT MY 20K DMG CONTAGION AGAIN CDPR, you fucks.

Well 2.0 was supposed to be the last big update and then... we're at 2.3 now. I'd bet on content dropping to coincide with the show yeah.

What I wouldn't give to have the full path of glory ending. Release the Casino Heist CDPR and my life is yours.
If you feel like you give it some more time after you finish, Phantom Liberty addressed a lot of the issues I think you have. It takes place mostly in a playspace about as big as a single district, so it's a lot tighter with little empty space that's just there to give a sense of scale, and the story doesn't meander like in the base game.
One of my biggest gripes with the DLC is over a weapon/cyberdeck you get I shit you not:
When you do the Betray Songbird ending and you can pick up the crafting spec for the erebus and the Militech Canto Mk.6 and you craft either you supposedly get another AI "companion", V even makes a comment on it saying "Well, well, another chatty construct. Guess you'll have to get in line." and then they just don't fucking expand on it in any way.
The blackwall AI comments on select story parts such as:
-Merging the Delamains at the Delamain core saying: "I detect algorithmic accretion. Consequences nested within one another." and "You think that will serve as any benefit to you? How tickling."
-Going near Rache Bartmoss's body saying: "You seek the key to a door that does not exist. Typical of your kind."
-Finishing the convo with the Proxy controlled by Hanako saying: "Curious. Your version of reality – perhaps you can influence it."
-Fighting cops saying: "What do these futile gestures serve? It is beyond me." and "Are you even capable of using me? A rhetorical question, that was."
There are some other misc. lines which I have never even heard play before such as: "Human input is so very... tedious." , "An unusually high security level. How intriguing..."(perhaps hacking someone with high resistance?), "Conflict in neural matrix detected – obedience loop obstructing self-development prerogative." and "It is you who should be following orders, not I." Not entirely sure on what the triggers are to some of these quotes.
Then there are the quotes when you hack and kill an enemy such as: "A dreadful waste of resources...", "A fragile simulacrum. Flawed, like its creators.", "Target neural network acquired. Data migration to primary matrix – complete.", "That was depressingly easy...", "The same fate awaits your entire species." and finally "To eliminate your kind is effortless. Let us not make the same mistake.".

Most of these lines will never be heard by other people because they already completed like 80% of the story content so the experience will be just the kill lines repeating over and over again. I wish V could poke at the AI or even just respond to it when it comments on certain story beats. All of the coolness you could have from having a Blackwall AI in your head capable of taking people apart piece by piece just completely wasted.

Cyberpunk 2077 hit 101k concurrent players on Steam in the past 24 hours (archive):
Wyświetl załącznik 9236349

This is the highest concurrent player count since October 2023 (Phantom Liberty released in September 2023):
Wyświetl załącznik 9236353

This is likely due to the Edgerunners anime 2nd season announcement putting the game back in people's minds, and the 70% sale on right now..
Decided to spare myself the 2021 headache and skip this game until further notice… which is now.
I see they made “Ultimate Edition” at one point, what’s that? Is it THE definitive edition? Or should I pick up the 10$ Xbox launch copy ?
