Rowling Derangement Syndrome - "TERF/Woke Author Bad!!1"

I remember reading the very comic and can provide some context.

Moore was, to nutshell it, a complete boomer who felt that what he grew up with was totally the best stuff and was not a fan of what modern British adventure fiction, especially boys' fiction, had become. His Potter parody was basically a mean-spirited diss at it. It's worth noting he also had issues with James Bond per an earlier unflattering incorporation of the character into the last couple volumes, Moore clearly preferred the masculine-yet-gentlemanly adventurers of the imperial era like Quatermain and Bulldog Drummond.

You're right on it being panned, as the dude admitted he didn't bother with most modern media and fiction of the time - but for sake of honesty this was just before Woke became a thing in society and so in this case the dude was less a SJW-type but more just being curmudgeonly as hell.

Alan Moore hates everything. Especially his fans.

I have to give Rowling my respect. She’s a tough ol bird who has never backed down from her beliefs and brawled with the best of them despite the endless doxxing, rape, and death threats she gets online. It’s actually rather inspiring.

Oh wow! This is just like that scene in Half Blood Prince where the Prime Minister met the Minister of Magic!

Oh, um, I mean FUCK THAT TERF WITCH ROWLING!!1!1!

To be fair, if any of us had Alan Moore's fans, we'd probably hate them too.

It’s pretty funny that to this day he’s still seething about people like Rorschach.

It’s probably a good thing she lives in the UK. I’m pretty sure if she lived in the US a troon would have shot at her by now.

I don't know (or particularly care) about the intricacies of Bongistani aristocratic titles, but why is Charles's wife being called Queen when Phillip was only ever Prince Consort and not King?
Because kings kind of outrank queens and the idea that some foreigner could marry their rightful sovereign Queen and therefore become King of England upset a lot of people so they passed a law saying he's not actually the King king he's just the Queen's husband. Goes back to Alfred and Victoria.

>when did JKR meet with Queen Elizab-
>it's Camilla
>not queen regent
>not a queen mother or a future queen mother
>has no children in the line of succession

I don't care what they call her or what crown she wears, THEE Queen has been dead for a few years, that's just some lady.

Nobody gonna point out that the Harry Potter antichrist jerked off and death-lightning came out of his dick before he was destroyed by Mary Poppins?

I have the comic if anyone wants pics.

THE Queen died in 2022. This is just some hag who benefitted from the alleged head of the Church of England marrying his mistress.

I go out of my way to not know anything about the British monarchy, because I'm a red-blooded American, but I thought that Camilla literally is just the Queen Consort. Like they wouldn't give her the official Queen title because she's the second wife, and not the mother of/blood-related to any of the heirs.
