Also lol at all the cucks in this thread hand-wringing about how the terrible SJWs turn on each other, like we don't do the same thing so fucking much we've codified it into religious terminology. Blood in the water has universal appeal and I thought our one saving grace was being honest about loving it.

I don't know where you got the impression that people were upset by them turning on one another, it's like clockwork and it's practically expected at this point.

I'm kind of torn on this.

On one hand, given he wrote for a website that employs Arthur "Bayonetta enjoying her goods is terrible, now ignore my long running subscription to Suicide Girls" Gies and Owen "BUY MY BOOK" Good, Nick came across as downright reasonable to the point where I wondered what he was doing on Polygon (leaving aside, at least from what I've seen, him going on about Tameem's temper tantrums as if they're the second coming of MGS2). I'd rather have him pop up on my timelines than Faraci, FilmRobert or the Cursed Koops any day of the week.

On the other hand, seeing how foggy the whole situation appears from my end, all I can really do is wait and see.
 
Getting away from polygon would be the best moment in his career, really.
He has a solid following. Can make a new podcast and find another network
 
I love how vaugebooking always causes people to jump to conclusions and start witch hunting someone. I mean, let's hate for the sake of hating. Typical SJW bullshit. Always wanting to make a villain out of any easy target.

There is nothing wrong in believing a victim but at the same time don't fucking act like the other party is the scum of the earth because of rumors. He isn't guilty until we get cold hard evidence. This is the case in any accusation. Being a fence sitter is better than being an ignorant fuck with their nose up their ass thinking they got all the answers from fucking vague tweets.

This is what happens when you subscribe to a worldview that demands zero critical thinking. The video game press isn't your typical 9-5 office job. These guys became friends with each other and very visibily hang out outside of work. It's hard to believe you could know someone for years and be entirely unaware that he's stuck sand in the vaginas of a large harem of danger hairs. Either they didn't call out their friend or this is listen and believe.

They've spent more time REEEing about the vague accusations directed towards Nick than they have on Amir0x, their BFF that got arrested for being a pedophile.

Fuck, I'm a woman, and if some gaming "journalist" fuckboy was sexually harassing me I'd be more than eager to put his ass on blast. In fact, the more lurid and obvious the screencaps and evidence the better, because he's have less chance to wiggle out of the accusations. Take some fucking power back and nail his ass to the wall.

Every one around it with the performative outrage "I'm so angry at what he *might* have done" is such an irritating tryhard. Sure, he looks and types like a fuckboy, but let's put the proof out there so everyone knows he's a fuckboy.
 
Can't say I ever watched Nick's stuff, so I don't know if he was genuinely good at his job. But I'll say what I always say with accusations- prove it or shove off.

Also, if all the Polygon staff knew about this crap, it doesn't paint a good picture of them for not doing something sooner.
 
Still don't know what he did or how serious it is, probably never will. Good to protect the victims but knowing how fragile and over reactive everyone in games is, it's hard to tell if he just sent a dick pic or physically assaulted someone.
