Nick Robinson (Polygon Feminist) accused of harassment - """accused"""

So, recently Nick made a joke on twitter about how "everyone who said they didn't jack off to Krystal from Star Fox is lying". This resulted in the Feminist Frequency twitter going on a multi tweet rant about how awful the joke is and how sexist video games are for having characters like Krystal, etc.

I find it funny that people are only going after Nick now, even though people have claimed he's been like this for a while. Plus, one of the first people talking about this is Maya Kramer (legobutts) who works for Feminist Frequency.

This means 1 of 2 things:

1. It's true, but they didn't report him when it happened because he's too popular in the SJW community and they didn't want to fracture the community/they were afraid people wouldn't believe them. Though, they can now thanks to him being shamed by FemFreq.

2. It's all made up

Either way, this means that either another male feminist is a sex offender, or SJWs will believe total lies that are made up with no evidence.

from what i know the guy isn't even into hardcore sjw shit. he's just socially liberal and happened to fall in with leftists online. if these accusations end up being true, and having only occured online, then whatever. was it that he was bothering a woman for nudes? or possibly was trying to hit on women but worded things badly and ended up rustling radfem jimmies in the process? big deal. you can block people on social media so i have little to no sympathy for "victims" of online harrassment, assuming it isn't some large scale manhunt. just block and move on.

What's all this new talk about not asking for receipts? As people in the games industry they should know you ALWAYS ask for reciepts so you can return a defective console. Did the XBOX red ring fiasco teach them nothing?

Also, I get not wanting a rape victim to have to relive their assault or whatever but if we are literally talking some lewd DMs I don't get why one of these ladies can't screen cap them instead of whispering vague accusations
 
I love how fast this group turns on anybody remotely connected to it. So many of them are just waiting to virtue signal by attacking one of their own over the faintest hint of going against the core beliefs. The drama is always amazing because it's 100% emotion driven and it doesn't matter if it happened or not.

I love how dramatic and guilty they feel being associated with Nick, even though he's only half of the cast. Griffin McElroy must feel like shit since people don't like his content anymore now that currently unproven accusations against Nick have tainted his career.

At least part of it has to be fear. If they don't condemn him hard enough (not even defend him, mind you), they could be the next target of a scandal, made up or otherwise. Shitting really hard on this guy will immunize them until the next shmuck slips up and they have to make a big scene about it to make sure they get proper credit for it. Once this guy is done (regardless of his actual guilt) and the leeches are fat and sated, everyone on twitter can sleep a little safer for a week or so, without the fear of waking up to a big drama fest that somehow involves them.

If there's one lesson to be learned from all of this, it's the following:
Don't associate with the SJW cult unless you're squeaky clean, and abide by their rules to the tee, people.
They're a bunch of low life self cannibals and won't hesitate to turn on their own in the slightest for the glimmer of a chance to appear progressive and rebellious against the forces of evil.
Also twitter was a mistake.
 
Yeah, I'm definitely in the minority here, but I've been seeing a lot of posts going around about this guy, and it does seem like he did something. This one seems to imply that he's exchanging sexual favors for promises of coverage:

if griffin mcelroy didn't immediately say SOMETHING nice about Nick or defend him in any way, you know there's something up for sure
guy seems nice almost to a fault with people he likes and considering he's a longtime real-life friend with Nick it's unlikely he'd be so willing to throw him under the bus over rumors

I don't think anyone is really defending him, it's just that this would play out the same whether he was innocent or not. Someone already pointed this out, be we can only win - either people get salty because another SJW ally turned out to be a predator or this guy's life gets ruined over nothing because he laid with snakes. Funny either way.

He truly seemed like a nice guy and if all of this is indeed true I'll be really bummed. I want to believe that maybe he just fucked up in a minor way and people are making a bigger deal out of it than it actually is, but since even Griffin isn't defending him it's hard to.

This is what happens when you cultivate that kind of community. Any little "problematic" thing you do-- I guess in this case it was being rude to a random guy?-- will disproportionately blow up because you've been constantly walking on eggshells to cater to the extremest and most sensitive SJWs around.

And even if you don't fuck up, anyone can still say anything bad about you even if it's anonymous and completely unclear and you're fucked because you can't question victims! Ever! Because that's what you've been preaching this whole time for your followers and now they've gone and ruined you so tough fucking luck.

I dunno, when this shit happens to overly apologetic :optimistic:celebs:optimistic: I often want to blame them. Whether he did the mysterious bad things or not, the guy has clearly fucked up.
