Nick Robinson (Polygon Feminist) accused of harassment - """accused"""

On one hand the fact that his close irl friends who know far more about him than people on the internet do are denouncing him is a major red flag.

On the other this growing culture of immediately accepting what people say as truth and being told that asking for evidence is problematic is very worrying.

Yeah, this is what I was thinking. I think obviously something happened that they know and we don't.

But until I read the neoGAF thread, I didn't even know what he was being accused of because everything's been so vague. It probably didn't help that I didn't know who Nick Robinson was prior to this event and it seems like most people expect you to know him if you are in the games industry because he's a gaming journalist.

I don't know if I'm buying it yet. Even the McElroy's are saying not to ask for receipts even though all of the people who allegedly have them locked their accounts. Seems suspiciously staged and I bet someone else, possibly one of the McElroy's, actually did something terrible.

I'm confused. Receipts for what?

The part that really fucks me up is how fast all of his friends/coworkers turned on him. I've never quite seen it this bad. How do you work with a guy for years and hear one person go 'lul he's a creep' and immediately turn like this?

This is why stay away from these people. Never trust them. They're scum. They will stab you in the back before you even know you're on the chopping block.

You'd think if these people who knew him so well had knowledge of him being some sort of sexual harasser they would have done something, other than be quiet and pretend you knew literally nothing about it.

If you didn't know anything about it, pretty shit of you as a "friend" to LISTEN AND BELIEVE unfounded rumors to the point where you make the decision to kill your multi-year project together.

They're either bad SJWs or bad friends, or both.

Everyone just seems to keep saying "stop asking for any proof, that'd be victim blaming." This fucking sucks. And then all his coworkers acting like they knew long beforehand now distancing themselves from him. Why didn't any of them come forward earlier and say something? I'm glad they get to keep the moral high ground on this somehow.

Always knew the SJW-types were quick to cannibalize their own when they start to fall out of favor.

Sheesh, if only politicians knew it was this easy to silence anyone you wanted by claiming harrassment they'd all be running around wearing wigs and stockings. Well, publically of course.

These sjw fags are always turning on their own. Fuck'em.

There's nothing he can do. He can truthfully say he didn't do anything, they're false claims with no proof, but he'll be eaten alive.
Or he can truthfully say he did use his power as a popular gamer, did some predatory stuff, and still be eaten alive.
Either way, this is what you get for calling yourself a feminist as a man.

Second verse, same as the first:
