Men are less suspectible to STIs because of differences in anatomy, and the symptoms aren't quite as severe for them. They don't get pregnant and can't pass an STI onto their child in that manner. So women are far more incentivized to practice safe sex. I've been friends with sex workers (prostitutes) and bare sex without even pulling out was a common request from clients. Some of them would refuse men who asked at all because of the risk they'd pretend to be okay with a condom and then remove it during sex. Sex positivity only ever taught moids that it is normal and reasonable to expect women to casually give their bodies to them. Breaking the stigma around being able to choose when to have babies and that it's okay for queer people to live their lives was a good thing to come out of that movement but I really dislike how hooking up became a normalized thing too.
