Rob is another "anti" who frames fiction as potentially harmful, and uses edge cases as the main point of arguing that real children are abused... like Shadman using real children for their art. The vast majority of "loli" content in Japan is SFW with no sexual content, and often uses adult models styled as younger. Automatically thinking something "sexy" when looking at an illustration says a lot more about you than anything else... especially when too many of these antis are later exposed as being predators themselves.

Now here is the thing. To some extent, I do think Chibi overshares, but the common wisdom of staying quiet about the haters also doesn't seem to work.
The collective silence that a lot of content creators do vs the hate they receive is just the old wisdom of "don't feed the trolls". It's 2026, and the trolls aren't just internet edgelords anymore. People have died, taken their lives, and conducted attempted assassinations of content creators. In some cases, creators were murdered by their haters, or worse happened.
Speaking up becomes more fuel for the haters.
Keeping quiet leads to more escalation by the most unhinged.
The best approach is better awareness of how "online hate" works in 2026... and we are not in Kansas anymore.

You can say that Chibi doesn't deserve as much hate as he gets, or that the severity is mismatched to what he's actually done. There is a conversation there a difficult one but one nonetheless. But claiming Chibi is a shining example of how to handle online hate with "awareness" is a take so bold it borders on outright dishonesty.
Expose the haters for who they really are, and the most recent hater, exposed for having multiple felonies of abusing a minor, an actual real-life pedo (akafoxVT, aka calling).

I cannot take this seriously from the side that defends lolicons, lolicons who still to this day use dog whistles popularized by a pedophile (Dorontabi). Not only that, but lolicons are currently embroiled in one of their largest controversies yet, involving a private group chat used by some lolicons in that group chat to goon to CSAM.
Walker has made a google doc explaining his innocence. He apologises for “jumping the gun and rushing the thread and the strawpage” and describes himself as naive. Probably a result from pressure
he however details that he only apologises for those innocent (because anyone can be added to twitter GCs) and still exposes those who send CSAM which means that his opinion hasnt changed after the harassment
But yes, the people saying it's weird to make jokes about not being able to work at a school because you'd end up wanting to fuck the kids are the pedos because somehow, increasing CSA rates? Yes.
This is Chibi's entire strategy. Chibi angers and provokes so many people that there will certainly be deranged and depraved individuals among them. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if Chibi's audacious behavior attracts haters like that in particular. Then he can claim he is being unfairly attacked, woe is he, and is therefore entirely innocent.

Honestly I don't get it why other lolicons still defend him like their own life depends on it. He is net negative personified.
Because they use it as a label to whine about in order to draw sympathy from the more "cultured" anime fans.
It's all part of that package that they use interns of drumming up a defense to hide behind. The same thing with lumping in LoliSho material in with the debate of Censorship or with the "Attractive Women in media" topic.

Boruto fans do suck, however they're so niche that a lot of people don't even know they exist.
I will ask though, what real meaningful contribution does chibi provide to the anime community?
~He doesn't archive or look into long lost shows like kenny lauderdale.
~He doesn't review or shout out shows that are good that people have never heard of.
~He highlights the most degenerate and sickening parts of anime people even in japan are ashamed of.
~He promotes pornography of shows to his audience that then, like a virus, cancerously make that aformentioned pornography seem like the focal point of the shows existence.
