He's been monetising the mattress in his taxpayer funded flat since his release from jail, but that is now at risk.
I'm not conversant with UK regulations on the subject, but I'm guessing running any business out of a public housing unit is not allowed. OK any Brits here? Am I correct?

Cis allies. Clueless. Am I right? :christine:

(The title was a rhetorical question, I’m not looking for answers I’m just here to vent)

I recently came out to my parents. They said they would support me but it has come to my attention that they are extremely uneducated on the topic. The first thing my mom said to me was “… so you want to get surgery?” with a shocked/confused face. Right off the bat, she immediately links gender to genitals. And when I tell her my name, she goes: “but I like (deadname) more.” That’s one of the worst things you can say to someone who is changing their name. They definitely think that they’re supporting me, but their ignorance practically counteracts it.

This all made me realize that most cis people see us as weird hobbyists. That it’s all cosmetic. Most cis people who think they’re allies are just: “that guy in a dress thinks he’s a woman, let’s pretend he is one because we’re so nice.”

Because of this, they don’t take it as seriously. For the past week I’ve been deadnamed and misgendered more times than I can count by them, even when they said that they would try to be more conscious of it. Not one single time have they corrected themselves either. I understand that they need time to get used to it, but they don’t even attempt to address me correctly. It really fucking hurts because they don’t realize the terrible effect this is having on my mental state. They don’t know that it’s my sense of identity that they’re carelessly ignoring.

So yeah

Almost Getting It Syndrome.

Spot on. That is exactly what "allies" are like. :lit:

Last paragraph, last sentence of a mini-rant about "deadnaming" ...
... They don’t know that it’s my sense of identity that they’re carelessly ignoring.
Top comment sets the stage for the consensus that allies aren't really bad, just ignorant.
A vast majority of people have literally 0 exposure to transness period outside of stereotypes. They have no idea, its ignorance in the literal truest sense of the word because they just don’t know, and why would they? Its not like its particularly appealing to research to someone who has no desire to explore their gender
However, there is also ...
We live in cishetpatriarchy culture, transphobia is the norm. ...
... the post modernist non-explanation explanation. :P

Also binders aren't banned in Bulgaria lmao, I think she's just underage and has no access to a credit card, which is much-much worse than simply being a dysfunctional 75 iq freak unable to order shit off of Amazon.
A Bulgarian pooner saying "y'all"? Seriously, what is it with the progressive "y'all"? It feels incredibly fake and forced and I can't help but roll my eyes and immediately lay judgment of that person's character anymore. As you know, proggies call it dog-whistling. The only people I've met in real life who use y'all and folks are those autistic proggy types. I'm outside of the south, so anyone saying it sounds incredibly unnatural and LARPy in our local American dialect.

But in an interest of not derailing here, I think it mostly comes down to the choke-hold intersectionality has on leftist activism:
you want to strike for better working conditions? alright but you're obviously also striking to end war in the middle east and for trans kids, right? You wouldn't be a bigot and certainly don't want to lose organizational support from your union or left-wing parties, right?

Funny how they insist here that the politics of the oppressed doesn't mean they deserve genocide, and that as a community they have to stand up for even the homophobic. I'm sure these people have also posted, however, about punching TERFs and other "nazis". The troon violence thread is full of such examples.

I am 16 years old and began transitioning before puberty, so I have always been on blockers. My family has always been careless with this stuff, so I was never taught how to properly talk about it. I always get a strange sense of anxiety when talking about this. Even writing this out is really difficult. I have been extremely worried about my lack of pleasure for a few years. I've brought it up with my doctor, but she didn't seem too worried about it and just told me to "keep exploring." I don't think I've ever had an actual orgasm.…

This perfectly distills the psyop that is Reddit. There is no grasp of the reality here that he's not in the Saints Row character creation screen. These drugs have permanently damaged his endocrine system and everything it touches in the body. (Which ultimately is every organ in the body. Including the brain.)

It's a lot of what I see with the astounding malpractice that is modern Gender Affirming Care. I notice every delusion that has been encouraged in this boy. The medicalized delusion is firmly based on the idea of separating the brain from the body. It's the modern internet conception of humanity; the brain in the box simply clipped into the M2 slot of a random body.

Medically, this is simply not true. It amounts to a religious belief. The consciousness of the self is inextricable from 3-dimensional, bodily existence. There is no self without the body it lives in. A body his doctors are damaging for no medical necessity.

The reason WHY is the adults have made him a sexual object. Not treated as a subjective individual. HE is castrated, to exist as a permanently pubescent boy. They delight in projecting their own fantasies upon him. HE will be a subject of other older men who can live their fantasy as they penetrate him. There is no other reason for the doctors to have done this to him.

I don't support mutilating children but not being able to get aroused and orgasm is such a minor drawback that I wish someone would just tell the boy as it is, that it's not a big deal despite the peer pressure, sex is overrated even for normal people, and that he should stop obsessing over it. Not remotely something worth killing yourself over.
I realize Corn Syrup is getting piled on about this Rather Odd Thing To Say. And we should probably stop doing that. Someday. But today is not that day.

This attitude tells me that I would bet fair money
1) You are female.
2) You know the taste of SSRIs if not something anti-psychotic
3) You don't have a significant other.

I've heard de-transitioners refer to the use of Puberty Blockers as Gender Lobotomies. And I've ranted on here before about the history of Lobotomies, and how they were in fact medically more defensible than what is being done with blockers.

Taking away a boy's libido and telling him sex is not a big deal is akin to to removing parts of his brain and telling him emotions are overrated. It's saying the taste of food is overrated. It's saying color is overrated. This isn't because I'm advocating the joys of endless gooning. It's again the realization that the body and mind are not separate. What we call "libido" is inextricable from the progression of the entire organism. It's not a separate fact that risk-taking and the willingness to be confrontational also are personality traits that show up in male puberty.

I'm focusing on boys and men in all my ranting, but what is being done to girls and women is not better. And by sheer volume, a much bigger atrocity. Women also have their libido tied strongly to their adult emotional life, including and especially the ability of women to develop bonding relationships. Women have a greater variety of their own experience of sexual pleasure, it's true. But the emotional complications of mature adulthood are inextricable from the changes that happen to the body/brain during puberty.

Back to the original post by the 16-yo boy being experimented on. I went to the original post because this response struck me as monstrous. So I grabbed the original text:

mdprgmr
Primary sex hormones tend to be what set up your body's sexual responses. Low sex hormones (hypogonadism) can cause what you're experiencing (anorgasmia). Cis people have a mix of both sex hormones in their body, and those levels go way up during puberty. You likely only have one, as blockers are extremely effective at stopping your body from producing any... and the one you have from an external source (estrogen) is low... at least for right now.

Dysphoria can also make it hard for trans people to relate to their bodies, especially if you're still in the early stages of puberty induction.

I'd say just try to be patient with yourself and know that it will likely just take time for your endocrine system to get where it needs to be. In the meantime, follow your doctor's advice, as exploring can help you figure out some things about yourself even if orgasms are out of reach. It can also help you be more comfortable in your own body, and learning how to let yourself experience the moment instead of focusing on one specific outcome (ex: orgasm) will help you navigate a lot of situations that may arise in relationships.
This blithering wall of psuedo-scientific bullshit is what gets me. It sounds compassionate, supportive, and even informed with scientific words. But he's telling the boy that everything is going to plan as the boy is reaching out for help. The boy is trying not to scream in realization of what they've done to him. The redditor is saying "shush now."

This is the same as an 18th century doctor in breeches and cullottes looking down through his monocle at a patient who is shaking with involuntary chills. "Do not fret," the doctor says, "give the bleeding time to work to reduce your fever. I am a medical professional, after all!"

The poster's history is all horrorcow about his own Gibes-like neverending medicalization that never works, while also sweeping into threads to groom the youth and advocate that they must keep affirming.

I have lost the ability in real-life for me to keep my cool with people on this subject because I see that the conversation breaks down into reliance of cliches over thought. In addition to throwing around bullshit credentialism and fake-science from dodgy studies.

The grooming relies on cliches such as my previously mentioned assumption of the mind-body separation. With using a term like "spectrum" to describe anything subjective. And especially "dysphoria." Which was first used for gender medicine in 1970s clinical literature by the Harry Benjamin association, predecessor to WPATH, first showing up in the DSM-5.

The hard truth is that we had words in psychology a generation ago that are now taboo. "Neurosis" captures exactly what is going on with the varying motivations to transition. With a significant number of those being diagnosable psychosis. But any practitioner who tells an AGP or HSTS patient that he's suffering from a sexually compulsive neuroris will just get dumped for an affirming counselor. And be lucky if he's not reported for "Conversion Therapy."[/SPOILER]

Bulgarian? I would never have guessed it.
Damn! Is every European country pozzed?
The Internet and social media are transmission vectors for social contagion of all types, even in cultures which one would think highly-resistant to them.

Shallow but easily-performed and socially-permissible emulation of what is perceived as part of a "black" ethnolect, this one word of which has evolved further and become a good-ol'-fashioned-just-like-mom-used-to-make shibboleth.

PRONOUNS ARE A CLOSED CLASS, YOU GITS.

I would argue that "dog-whistling" is subtly different (which is not to say that wokies are terribly cognizant of even their own jargon, even when it carries any intrinsic, articulable meaning at all, that is). A dog-whistle is a means of "saying the loud part quiet".

An example comprehensible to any whom lurk our African-American "Appreciation" threads:

- teens
- joggers
- scholars
- lunchtime rowdies
- socioeconomic factors

To a normie, these words mean nothing special. Used by a Farmer and read by other Farmers, they mean FUCKING NIGGERS!!!!!!!!

Ostatnio edytowane:
My partner and I were having a philosophical discussion about this topic the other day, and I said something to the effect of "Imagine you wake up tomorrow with your sex drive completely gone and your dick useless" and without the slightest hesitation he said "I'd build a bomb."
There are soldiers who lost their genitals in wars but don't become total psychopaths. There are men who lose them trough accidents or cancer and yet they aren't building bombs.

I could post a whole rant about this, but I'll limit myself to noting that when a person or group is hated enough, not only do innocent actions become evil, even their good ones are further proof of their sins.

crackers.png ...isn't enough anymore, no.

Now, it's: "Look at those fucking kikes not throwing gays off rooftops like they own the place..."

The implication is that even when Israelis do something good (not murdering gays in the streets), the only possible explanation for this is that they are attempting to gloss over other misdeeds. All their motives are necessarily evil, and Even Good is Bad in Oceania Clown World.

It's also fun to see that they are still blaming "British colonialism" for Muslim hatred of gays. Funny, the British got over it, but Muzzies can't? They are stuck forever in that cultural import, and lack the agency (or moral strength, or intelligence) to escape it alone? Well, I guess we'll just have to swoop back in and fix that, then!

These idiots remind me of (forgive me, but this pop-culture reference fits, and it will be more relatable to the Wokies and thus piss them off even more) the Star Trekian Prime Directive:

When the Directive is broken and creates cultural contamination, that's bad. But breaking it a second time to fix that contamination is a million billion times worse.
