My point still stands: the A10 can perform as infantry support where the point of contention is the mentality infantry itself is obsolete.

The 15, 16, and 18 are all multi-role and the only one that (arguably) wasn't designed from the ground up as a multi-role was the 15. But the Strike Eagle outperforms the A-10 in ground attack anyways in anything that isn't gun runs and even that's only viable if you're fighting guys with literal Vietnam era tech at best.
