I've noticed that too. If you go on any online homestuck space its always the MTFs with an Aradia pfp. I could probably guess a few reasons why they use Aradia:

1. Its incredibly easy to self insert as a troon. She doesnt have a lot of screen time so its up to the readers interpretation to make her a character.
2. She is a quirky chungus. She's a misunderstood goth troll whos also le autismkino for liking archeology stuff and whatever. It's like that female trope of a cold blooded woman with a soft side that you never guessed would be hers.
3. Troons relate to her because of the fact she is a rust blood and troons identify as an oppressed minority in general.

I don't know why this is but I can make some educated guesses:

Aradia is very quiet and introverted, at least as a ghost, this is probably relatable for trannies who are on the autism spectrum

Being killed and put inside a robot might be seen as allegorical to how trannies were "killed" and put inside "a body that isn't theirs", or how they felt "dead" until they "became who they truly are"

Aradia is one of the most physically capable characters in the entire comic, with ghost powers, telekinesis, and robot powers?, AND being able to multiply herself infinitely? Trannies are attracted to power and like self inserting as overpowered gods (see: gooseworkx self inserting as Cain)

Tying into the last point, Aradia violently beats up Vriska and leaves her for dead, trannies have a fetish for beating up women so they probably like self inserting as her for that reason

If you're considering Damara too, the asian angle probably appeals to their japanophilia

Same here, I refuse to let my good memories to be tainted by whatever has been going on. Never was too deep into the fandom itself as well, so that helped avoid the cringe back in the day. Dave's review of Tony Hawk is still peak humor to me.
Engaging creatively is off the table though, an average HS fan nowadays seems to be more psychotic than back in the day. Which is an... accomplishment, for sure? Usually when a fandom dies, crazies move onto something else.

Act 2 also cut content right before release for some reason. There's two entire characters that's cutscenes are int he trailer that aren't int he fucking game. The money went to anything but hiveswap and it shows.

I asked for help finding extra jobs and yardwork around the neighborhood to pay for the tier I wanted...
