For those who have been following, this report only confirms what was already suspected.
What I do however think this report has done, unlike any other which may have preceded it, is provided a clear and informational overview of the both the ethnic makeup of the perpetrators, and the cultural and religious elements which has so uniquely positioned them as the majority of the perpetrators.
There is to date, no other document which as clearly and precisely illustrates the problem, and in doing so makes very clear the things that must be done.
I hope that in the years hence, the United Kingdom will take the necessary steps in eliminating this problem, and removing the people who committed, allowed, and supported it.

This is one of those things I have to take in bites. It's been known for a while, but it's something else to read the account of the people who had to endure it. Especially knowing the system failed them.

These people's stories deserve to get heard, and HOPEFULLY the UK will get its shit together and do something.

Not to derail but sexual minorities do (non coincidentally) make an outsized portion of abuse victims in the U.S. (if my own mandatory reporting training is to be believed).

But because the outsized portion of victims were particularly poor white girls, the UK system ignored them so as to protect what in their mind were the more economically productive (+socially sacrosanct) demographic, which were the foreign men.
