That is incorrect, a player’s global ID will be accessible to a game permanently and would override the scoped ID if they had played it before the update rolled out, because of this there is no change needed for datastores since also scoped IDs are just integers like global IDs and do not collide with them, I assume they will just be really massive numbers or ones starting with 0.
What this does mess up though is apps like Bloxlink, which originally links a player’s global ID to their discord account which allowed developers to be sure that the discord account they are interacting with in whatever way is accountable for the in-game data linked with said global ID, post-update the verification of the global ID becomes useless as the developer will need to verify the scoped one instead meaning Bloxlink is to be ditched for custom apps that utilize OAuth which is Roblox’s official way of letting developers ask and obtain data from players.
There will be no shared verifications, a developer getting a player to verify this way doesn’t reliably link to the actual Roblox account in any way and it’s only useful to say “This entry of data saved in X game belongs to this discord account”
I have a theory about why this is being done and I don’t believe it’s simply just to kill Ruben Sim’s EASI as many say, just as Ruben was capable of inferring whether a player is a degenerate with a liking to either Lego sex or children by tracking certain activities, other malicious actors could track a wider range of activities, profile players based on where they spend their time and money on “This player likes X genre!” “This player spends heavy on X kind of items!” And sell these full of children profiles data to whoever is willing is willing to pay, and there are definitely a lot out there. This was just a secondary fleet of lawsuits that was waiting to happen if they weren’t already being sued for data compliance and mishandling.

He named the character from Forsaken referencing Friday the 13th. I personally believe this to be a 16 year old child who is posting his newborn sibling onto the Internet without his mother's knowledge. It is discovered that Hytoko had an alternate X account where he would argue about certain things without people knowing it is him. He would also have an interest in Muffet porn. The alternate account shares same interests that Hytoko has as well as talking about the same few people. the account was deleted right after this speculation was made.

With the google doc released, it appears that Solar has been withholding information until he was confident enough to post it. This exposes Geno to everyone within the Forsaken community considering Solar's position as someone who posts news about the game.

Navigating the legal realities and the hostile environment created by the wider online community over the past months has made it completely unsafe for anyone to open up about their experiences. It is simply not worth anyone's time, money, or mental health, and it has understandably caused others to step back and protect themselves, too, and so will I.
At this point, I realize I do not owe anyone my words, my pain, or my energy. I refuse to give any more of my life or attention to the person who hurt me, or to a crowd looking for entertainment. Because of that, this chapter is officially and permanently closed, unless further escalations or actions from the other party necessitate formal legal action.
Moving forward, my platforms and spaces are going back to what they were always meant for.
