He probably didn’t “want” to make them, but the only recent videos of his where he actually seemed to care about what he was talking about that I’ve seen are the videos about StarGiant and his biological father. You could tell he was fucking pissed at both of them and justifiably so. All his recent cartoon reviews I’ve seen are him clearly just going through the motions.

What a pathetic response, holy shit. Imagine getting butthurt over "hours of work" as if that would be anywhere near sufficient for what he was attempting, and especially when the workload isn't even all on his shoulders. On a project that he himself admitted was a cash grab where he prioritized quantity over quality. He should have taken his honesty a step further and instead try to pass his series as first impressions, not as full reviews for the shows he's covering. At least then, he'd have an excuse for not being fully in depth because blind reactions aren't known for being comprehensive anyway and it makes a limited scope much easier to understand since you can focus on just the first few episodes of a show, call it a day, and bypass the need for researching history or production because you don't need it. I'm glad he's mellowed out since because this pissy attitude over people believing his work is insufficient is inexcusable.

If his videos were all one hour long or more, long gaps between uploads would be understandable. But most of his regular reviews clock in at twenty minutes at best. Nostalgia Critic episodes are about that long and Doug Walker has been doing one of those a week nearly uninterrupted for almost twenty years. What’s Enter’s excuse?

Okay, uh... Hope expressing feeling suicidal came clear outta nowhere and I'm probably gonna be seen as an A-Log over this, but StarGiant saying MintKitten acts suicidal for brownie points somehow has a lot more merit than I initially thought when I saw the "Regarding Star Giant Productions" video a year later.
