Stephanie Cianfriglia / Sapphire Crimson Claw / Yarrow Brown / the-ghost-fucker / transmascdruid / anarchoenby77 / darktwistedpussy / Druid of Endicot - Xe/xyr ghost-fucker, womb wizard, hand sanitizer sommelier, trans-boomer, violently abuses her elderly parents, has sexual fantasies about raping children

She then gets to reap more oppression points for being laughed at and chased away from addiction support groups. It obviously means her addictions are way more stigmatised, because even the heroin addicts hate her.
Oh, I'd like to see her cross a true and honest drug addict. Hiding in the bathroom in tears because her old lady neighbor demanded money would be nothing compared to that.

I'm late, but the worrying part of her mushroom grow actually isn't the white fuzz, that's normal and in fact what you want. All of the substrate should be white with fungal threads from the spores you want, not only to be sure it gives you as much crop as possible, but because if your desired fungal spores have taken over as much real estate as possible so to speak it becomes more difficult for unwanted fungi and molds to move in.

However, it looks like her grow has some bad mold issues, it's not safe for those mushrooms to be eaten if there is any trace of green or blue contamination mold. I would like a clearer picture but meh. If I were here I'd toss that one.

It's not just Staph, there's a lot of people who approach money the same way. Staph, like billions around the world, is incapable of planning ahead. She can't imagine the future because it doesn't exist. I'm sure a lot of us have known people who, once they pay rent, forget all about it until midway through the next month when they realize rent is coming up soon and start panicking about not having enough money.

I'm not sure if Staph has a two week brain herself, it might be less, but it's the same principle. She doesn't even go "that's for future Yarrow to worry about" because future Yarrow doesn't exist either, the credit card allows her to buy something right now and that's all she thinks about. Then she gets the bill, which she is unable to connect to the fancy sodas or fake drugs she bought last month, and she has a panic attack. This will keep repeating until either all forms of buy now pay later are taken from her by force or she's dead. Sadly, she is far from alone.

With all the scams she falls for, I’m sure she’s a sucker for the impulse buy tactics online shops use. “Order in the next 15 minutes and get a FREE pack of gummies!” And she has a million fake and gay reasons to justify spending $80 on some woo-woo juice.
I can see her hovering over the “confirm order” button, already writing a beg post in her head hoping her bluesky buddies can save her from going in the red again.

There are none. There's no situation where it's better to have a payday loan. They are designed to be extremely predatory towards people with poor financial literacy and shit impulse control.
I-
Asking "is it better to have a payday loan" is like asking "is it better to start smoking heroin".
was gonna say:
Payday loans are actually quite worthwhile if you're a heroin addict.
If you pay it back quickly like a non retard, you're basically spending like 20 quid to borrow a hundred or so for a week.
Which is well, well, well worth not being sick for that amount of time.

That said, all the retards that didn't pay it back and got huge fines ended up getting repaid their shit a few years later after the UK gov cracked down on the predatory lenders. Banks too, when they were charging people fifty a pop for going into their overdraft. Often, sent into their overdraft by bank fees themsleves.
Which is good.
It's just a bit sore when you were one of the goodies who paid back their QuickQuid/Wonga. Com loans.
Slightly smarts, though it probably wouldn't have been worth the stress of being pursued for a few years.

It's wild that she still puts put begging posts when noone ever donates. Hope springs eternal ig. Actually did her weird other version (the autist adoptee woman larping as an anime character, crap musician) chip in a little recently?
I get second hand embarrassment from how she just never seems to realise there's nothing coming but still plowing on entitled regardless.
Maybe it's the fault of that bullshit trans grant.
And obv, just getting everything done and got for her by the frigs. Still though.

Whoever originated the phrase, "Don't judge a book by its cover," should be shot. They're probably already dead, so dig'em up and shoot the remains twice. You know, just to be sure. Book covers don't materialize from nowhere. It's intentional. Staph is a perfect example. As fugly as she is, what's inside is worse. If you see some fat weirdo waddling towards you, a trilby festooned with the finest of Etsy troon buttons, steer clear. Okay, maybe get their social media contacts and start a thread. Just make sure to wash your hands twice afterwards.

The good news is that this bullshit finally convinced my mom to reach out to the OPWDD.
Staph is finally getting a tard wrangler.
I made an appointment with an addiction counsellor
Fucking called it lol.

Fucking called it lol.
It's weird that at least a half-dozen of us in this thread can see the future, but Stephanie can't.

Since she's skipping the Dracula Tarot to talk to a mundane therapist about this, maybe the next step is a marriage counselor. Unless she married the God of Lies thinking she could change him.

again I wonder how much she truly believes what she says

eta: seriously, how does "keep getting scammed" and "married to/worships a Trickster God" square at all? Maybe I've played too many FRPGs but either she should automatically be able to detect scams and trickery, or (and this is a high-concept "or") each time she pays $20 because she got a free tote bag then forgot to cancel a subscription is a sacrifice to Loki, and she should recognize it as a holy gift.

She accrues monthly interest of $100?! How much has she run up on that card?

Or is this some kind of special tard card that charges fat fees for not carrying a zero balance?

I'm no credit card wizard, but apparently at 22% APR she'd have to have five fucking grand sitting on that card to be getting hit that hard in the ass with monthly interest.

But remember, "my mom let me know that" she'd have $100 interest every month.

(Strange thing to put in a post that you're writing yourself, when you could just as easily not mention your mom.)

I agree with your surprise at it potentially being $5k debt. Stephanie is an overspender but it's on Amazon drinks and mushroom gummies, not synthesizers or a motorcycle. For this much debt to have happened since the last billing cycle, that's a lot of individual $50 tea bag orders.

Could Stephanie have misheard, or could Mama Frigly be trying to scare Stephanie straight?

This is the kind of post where any helpful adults on Bluesky would quickly catch on to the unreliable narrator, I'd think, and request information or suggest credit cards with better terms. Stephanie hasn't written a good sob story with an achievable total amount disclosed or a sympathetic explanation of where the money went.

The person she tagged in her post about receiving assistance is someone I've glanced at before out of curiosity when she mentioned them in the past. Looking at their profile now, it seems like this post may have led them to block Stephanie. The person was originally responding to Stephanie in the posts shared below. This person has an incredibly negative view of services aimed at helping those with ASD, particularly ABA, and my guess is that they're genuinely pissed that Stephanie is reaching out for help via a service they disapprove of.

People like this infuriate me to no end. They're at the very least incredibly unhelpful and at the absolute worst they are fucking dangerous. The idea that someone reaching out for help is somehow a "traitor to the cause" or some shit is sickening. I have worked in ABA in various positions for almost 7 years. I will be the first to tell you that it was a fucking mess back in the day and that there are absolutely some autistic adults who truly suffered under certain care. However, just as with literally every other field under the mental health umbrella, as time has gone on there has been tons of research into what is actually helpful vs. what is actually harmful. The days of binding children's hands in order to stop hand-flapping is long gone. Forcing children to sit still for hours on end is no longer a thing. The field has grown and progressed significantly. ABA isn't even inherently about autism, it's about behavior. The principles we apply to autistic clients come from a universal understanding of how human behavior works. There's an entire branch of ABA that focuses solely on corporate organizations and how to manage supervisor/subordinate behavior and relationships in order to maximize employee happiness and retention. The work I do on the autism side is endlessly valuable and rewarding. There is no way to describe the feeling of hearing a child who was presumed to be non-verbal say something as simple as "I want water" for the first time after months of patience, hard work, and above all else: compassion. I don't torture children to teach them how to speak, I teach them how much easier it is to say what they want than it is to bang their heads against a wall because they don't know any other way. Teaching a 22 year old man how to shop for groceries or order food at a restaurant isn't demeaning, it's giving him the tools to someday reach whatever level of independence he desires. I don't want to get too deep into all of this because I've already ranted long enough, but goddamnit that person can fuck right off if they can't comprehend why something like this would be extremely beneficial for Stephanie.

You don't need to feel too mad about Bit's opinions on anything, they're a 'system' larper so rest assured they're 100% full retard and can be disregarded as a matter of course.

Haha fair. But they're far from the only one out there who fear mongers about the practice. I was actually advised by someone who was diagnosed with autism in adulthood and had never even experienced ABA not to go into the field because of how "harmful" it was so I tend to get a bit defensive when anyone shares ignorant opinions of it, even those lacking a stable relationship with reality.

By OPPWD, she means New York's Office of People with Developmental Disabilities (to save everyone a google). I wonder what developmental disability will qualify her for this service. Will it be the late-diagnosed autism, or is it some long-documented crack baby-related diagnosis?

The addiction counselor thing is lol, except that I guess they might still manage to provide more competent therapy than her current therapist. An addiction counselor is likely a lot less interested in self-serving excuses than hippie woowoo grandma therapist.

Her poor mom, though, getting desperate enough to reach out to OPPWD. Either her parents are putting their feet down about helping her with this particular debt, or they don't have the spare funds to address it themselves. They must feel desperate and at a loss. I still wonder what happened to that supportive decision-maker thing, which seems to have fallen off her radar long ago (though the program still exists).

I'm not actually going to critique Staph hooking up with a wrangler (though I'll laugh-- critiquing and laughing are distinct activities). She needs a wrangler, and she's been in need of one. She's simply not managing on her own: dental issues, spending issues, weight gain issues, issues with locking yourself in the bathroom and screaming because the neighbor who keeps scamming you won't leave . . . that's not what "managing" looks like.

Poor Frigs.

Well she did request a $5000 grant. The hardship of Ollipop is real.

It's $700

The $100 a month might be her mom trying to put the fear of God into her. Some older people are a bit unreasonable about things like interest or debt. I've noticed some old women in particular seem to see the act of carrying a balance on your credit card or paying $5 in interest a month as a moral crime akin to embezzling millions.

I can't hold it against them though. They grew up in a time when women weren't even allowed to have their own credit cards and needed their husband's permission to open a bank account and shit. It's no wonder they take it so seriously. And if that is the case, she wouldn't be wrong to try and impress upon Staph the importance of not accruing debt.

Too little too late, though.

I don't get how dumb Staph is. She was able to groom a whole group of teenagers and she earned a degree, sort of. I'm not saying either of those feats requires Machiavellian intelligence, but it feels like there was a time when she was able to be a somewhat normal person who could have worked in a mail room or something. But now she's so retarded that she's losing her teeth due to drinking too many sodies and she needs a special financial overseer. What was the point of no return?

I'd just like to say how it makes me want to smack her remaining teeth out every time she says "overdrafted". I don't know if that's some burger phrasing I've never heard prior to this, or Staph being a tard with her word use like she has before. I'm so used to hearing "overdrawn", which makes more sense grammatically (draftsmen draw things, so "going into your overdraft" is "going overdrawn"). Honestly, Staph should contact me and I'd do that dental work she needs for free!
