Sorry for the late reply, I have had a really awful weekend and not been here much.Im talking about looking better
You’ve already had good advice about the basics. Wash daily, wash your hair every other day or as often as it needs it - the ‘never wash’ thing is a myth, don’t do it! Clean clothes. Nothing fancy is needed, basic shirts and trousers are all you need. Brush teeth and floss them. Have a good deep clean at the dentist. Change your bedsheets at least once a week and wash them in hot water - make sure they’re cotton. Change your pillowcase DAILY if you have acne. Buy a pack of cotton pillowcases, wash them in hot water, then you’ll have enough for the week.
Ok, so hair grows constantly. How is your hair messed up exactly? Or do you mean balding? If the latter that’s actually mainly genetic. Nothing to do about it yet, cut it short and neat. Jason statham is bald and he’s fine looking. Don’t keep it long and comb over.mostly acne scars and a weird sunken cheeks and messed up hair from not eating.
- If you mean your hair is in poor condition, that’s totally fixable with good nutrition. Have you had a few bloods done to make sure you dont have any big deficiencies? Iron is the big be for hair - your ferritin needs to be over 70 for it to grow well.
- if you have scalp/oil/dandruff issues then it’ll depend on what it is. Ketoconazole shampoo, and anything with selenium sulphate in (head and shoulders does one in a blue bottle) will fix most things. Make sure you’re scrubbing your scalp.
Skin- acne scars can be reduced with lasers. I’d go see a dermatologist (a proper one, board certified, spend the money) and get some professional advice. What will work for active acne isn’t what will work for old scars and there can be a lot of very specific things that need specific care
Your comment about sunken cheeks concerns me - are you drastically underweight? (And I have to ask, and sorry for suggesting it but have you been tested for HIV?) do you eat enough? your diet should be meat, dairy, veg and as non-fucked about with as possible. Again nothing weird, old fashioned food. If you do any substances, stop.
You’re actually painting a picture of quite severe self neglect, rather than ‘ugliness’ and I think your very first step is to make yourself accept you are deserving of self care. I know that sounds a bit woo and fluffy and whatever but do it anyway.
