I previously expressed this sentiment when discussing the recent release involving Jared Leto. I genuinely believe that 30-year-old 1990s cartoons tend to be more resilient brands. This is partly due to the mismanagement of 1980s intellectual properties by Hollywood and the relative neglect of 1990s franchises. Fans of series such as Biker Mice from Mars, Samurai Pizza Cats, and Street Sharks have generally not encountered writers or creators who openly hold a negative attitude toward their fan base, unlike the experiences faced by some fans of Star Wars and He-Man. If Hollywood were to reboot Samurai Pizza Cats, it is likely that the remaining team members would be eliminated, leaving Polly Esther as the sole main character. Similar to how Kevin Smith rebooted He-man on Netflix.

The character exchanges and dialogue is something that would come out of the Star Wars Prequels. Also, I feel like people don't hate the voice acting enough. It's not awful, but just very mediocre. Pomni's VA feels like the only one approaching television quality.

Yeah, the show is basically:

> Set up a mysterious digital world
> Tease lore
> Author's self-proclaimed male self-insert commits toxic masculinity crimes onto the other characters, setting undertones of the true purpose and plot of the show
> Drop everything interesting about the teased lore. The plot comes to a screeching halt to focus on why male Jax had to abstract due to not accepting becoming a transwoman
> Male self-insert abstracts and everyone is happier for it. The only other male 'human' character, Kinger, remains idling in the background half-mad. He's last seen salting his plate instead of his food at a dinner table.

Imagine being so bigoted and misandrist because you hate yourself so much after being groomed on Deviantart by racist MtF fetishists when you were a young teen, only for you to move to Tumblr where you consumed even more male-hate brainrot. And I'm saying this as a woman who was on Tumblr 10+ years ago as a kid; underlining hate and/or suspicion for anything masculine (gay ships excluded) was everywhere, even in mundane cooking blogs. It's why I immediately clocked Jax as a representation of tOxIc MaScUlINiTy. He's so Tumblr-coded, he's practically a common Tumblr strawman. I think Gooseworx internalized a lot of sick ideas from his racist MtF fetishist groomer and mixed it with bigoted millennial Tumblr ideology.
Then in your 30s, you make a cartoon that children love where you insert all your self-hatred, hatred for the masculine, with the addition of a dozen of your fetishes dressed up in cutesy colorful characters that attract children. Gooseworx tweeted he was trying to "exorcise my demons" through tadc. I think he still has those demons. Probably solidified even stronger within him. Instead he just set his demons loose onto other people and encouraged self-hatred.

I thought it was just an innocent show for autistic kids but oh I was so, so wrong. This always seems to happen, for late millenials/zoomers, the go-to adult show has been south park, which has its own mountain of shock humor/fetish shit. Kids want to feel like grownups, so they expose themselves to things they shouldnt, and neglectful parents give the OK because "its animated, how bad could it be?"
