i'm gonna be honest dude: so far it just seems like one of those moments where there's a vague, but still noticeable divide between what's the truth and what's just emotionally charged exaggeration. the whole "she sent me to conversion therapy" part is what sets off red flags for me, especially since he said it at a time when it was a really popular talking point amongst the tumblr types (2017)

trust me, i wanna give him the benefit of the doubt here, especially since there have been cases of creators whose parents legit fucked them over in one way or another, said trauma being reflected in their work (e.g. goro miyazaki), but at the same time i'm also getting shades of chris' recollections of people/places he doesn't like, where he also painted them in a mostly bad light; said claims having been heavily disputed by people fully on the know about his life and habits

effort be damned. all of them still make a lot more dollary doos than either you, i, or most of this forum ever will. in regards to adc, i personally don't have strong feelings for the guy or his show either way, since i don't really have any interest in it beyond the threads here to begin with. i just find it more funny that even people here are shocked that the kiwifarms is just being the kiwifarms and gossiping about random negas

i'll also argue chris is more in the same camp as cooper than he is any of these griftastic chucklefucks

I remember reading a review of the award winning Broadway Musical called Spring Awakening that's based on a play from 1891 Germany that extolls the perils of sexual repression on young people. The one line I can recall all these years later said something to the tune of "these are the people whose childrens' children would become Nazis" as a result of the unchecked sexual debauchery of the Weimar Republic.

Id like to know more about this alleged, “conversion therapy.” I read the OP carefully & only saw the claim, no proof that whatever therapy Cooper was sent to, was conversion therapy. Most trannys & their loyal supporters consider, real, actual, cognitive behavioral therapy, “conversion therapy,” for the simple fact that it isn’t affirmation therapy, which is fucking useless for people who suffer from abnormal psych conditions. Especially the personality disordered types. Tranny’s cry that any therapy that doesn’t “affirm” & “validate” their every impulse is the evil, dreaded, conversion therapy, for the simple reason that it asks them to change their disordered behavior in order to positively impact their lives. Therapy only opens the door, the client themselves has to do the work of walking through that door, to improve the quality of life. Affirmation that every destructive impulse is “valid & correct” does nothing for the truly disordered, it’s actually quite harmful thinking. The effects of this reliance on affirmation therapy can even be seen societally, with people being told by extremely irresponsible, so called, professionals, that their fucked up thoughts are right, true, & good. You can see the results in the way more & more people have no idea how to take responsibility for their own thoughts & feelings, nor have any idea how to function without the world catering to them. So valid.

Really, besides Goose being a weird troon like all other weird troons it’s pretty inoffensive. We’ve been around, we’ve seen some shit, I myself was forged in the infernal hellscape of the Bronies I know how crazy things can get, and look man if TADC is the worst fandom you’ve seen you’re just new to the game of Internet lunatics.

It's why nearly all autistic therapy now is about "preserving" autistic traits no matter how genuinely detrimental they are (that's what happens when autists think they're being GENOOCIDED)
