I went to see the movie. It wasn't that bad, but way overhyped and could've just been released on YouTube. It was rushed (probably because Goose just wanted to get it over with after the annoying fanbase almost lynched him for stupid shit) and left a lot of questions unanswered, and felt lackluster. Maybe I'm just blind to it but i didn't really see the trans allegory with Jax. I did like the end where all the human counterparts got on the same bus tho.

I will say it, i actually did the TADC. Episodes 1-5 were really good but 6-9 felt condensed and didn't convey any of the story well enough. This was easily the best thing to happen to Glitch, and i can see them milking it for a while before the hype dies down

Yup, this is from the ugovaria account, the first post dating 2009. Here you will find VERY early on he was quite good friends with a transformation artist known as ComX. What's interesting is that ComX specialised specifically in transformation art of males to females. Link - Archive

They must have been pretty close because Cooper made multiple drawings for him along with a full theme song.

You can find this comic Cooper made about him and his OCs transforming into princesses which obviously takes similar inspiration and has obvious AGP overtones. I think there might have been more transformation-specific art but it interestingly seems to have been removed if this comment on his main page says anything.

I wouldn't be surprised if Cooper's involvement with transformation communities was what lead to his eventual actual transition.

I looked up Cooper's old friend, ComX/Chess-man's deviantart page and the dude is obsessed with male to female transformation, men crushed under the weight of BIG TIDDIES, and men crying from being turned into a girl. All things you see in Cooper's later art and well into the art he draws even today.

I’ve never read Homestuck but there’s a chance the fandom just didn’t see them as that. There’s definetly a difference between a legit lolicon/shotacon and a character that acts and looks nothing like a child to the point where no one sees them as one or even remembers they’re supposed to be. I think there are cross dressing elements but I think they’re not as blatant as this guy is trying to say they are. The maid dress especially doesn’t feel “trans” to me as when he wears it in the movie it seems to more so be to fuck with Gangle and mock her, it’s like literally just a costume.
