Post odd shit you have found on goofish - chinese ebay
That's major corrosion damage I'm sure all those ICs are TOAST. Once that much corrosion is on the board there's very little chance the IC itself hasn't cracked and let corrosion inside.

Id presume since a lotta recycle centers ship broken electronics to asia that get tossed in tons of piles that get crunched, rained on, etc. I recall finding a ps1 in my local recycle center that when opened appeared to have a motherboard so rusted you couldnt even tell the board was green. I only needed it for the top lid since mine got taken off due to 11 year old me being too young to know how to solder just used the disc swap trick way too ofyen.
Reminds me of an early 2000s incident that happened with ikea plants. One of the reason they dont sell live plants anymore. apparently they had large plants imported from south america and along with the plants came giant spiders (I think australian spider size) that got loose in ikeas or something like that. very freaky ahh situation
I found a dude obsessed with 1980s to modern day Japanese arcade games. His for sale posting appear to be a combinations of cabinets for sale and offers to come play vidya with this dude and talk about the game Sellers Page
I do like how you can offer/seek things like repair services on goofish
Actually that is the device I got from goofish, albeit its their model labelled under what is referred to as the 大唐数码 DTD-E800 or the Datang Digital DTD-E800. Whats odd is on the back the camera is in the center for some fucking reason? Don't really know much though until I get it but heres the listing photos of it.
Theres also this incredibly odd one I found. I presume its lower than gingerbread considering its mimicing the 3gs, though I really don't know. If anyone knows of any identifyable model numbers for this one please let me know cause I am very curious what this device is like on.
Now for some of the new stuff I found this week. I wanted to first start with some pc finds.
First I found this cute one with a carrying handle.
From the pictures it looks like it pulls out like that one hotwheels pc. Not in my pricerange though as its bundled with so many other pcs that it totals out to 1.5k
We then have an early Lenovo PC. It looks like this one was immensely inspired by PowerMac G3 pcs. Even the monitor has some of that style.
Boring beige boxes being cloned isn't out of the picture either. What we have here are some fake dell optiplexes...as if there wasn't trillions of optiplexes in e-waste already...kinda redundant in my opinion:
Another one (this time a sleeper with relatively new parts). I can't really understand why someone would set up a sleeper with a socketed cpu and then decide...hey! Let's install a I3 processor!
Now to some more miscellaneous stuff.
This first one is not interesting on its own...HOWEVER, its a bootleg PSP licensed by the car company Hyundai
This one I just found silly. Someone drew a cute little cat on the front of it.
Heres some scanning machine that looks like some wierd architectural building from the 90s...No clue what it is for or what it does.
I then got in a rabbit hole of UMPC devices. I'll expand on it in another post but for now heres one thats both a full blown intel atom pc and a shitty feature phone (they're both seperate units just essentially glued to the same power supply). This 800mhz "beast" is known only as the LonMID M100-E.

Along with finding this listing I also found this chinese peson going over the unit for a retrospective here: Billibilli

Anyways hopefully enjoyed my long tech spergout post!
if you get that industral chinese pc as a sleeper please document your findings of the stuff initally inside of it...maybe clone the hdd and if you're savvy maybe dump the bios rom.
If this is a custom one time box I wouldnt be suprised but I presume the parts inside are all off the shelf so a model no of the mobo and the lcd would be awesome.
Sorry for doubleposting but theres just so much more wierd shit I found today. plus I also wanna add in some special bootlegs.
the first thing I found was some dude selling a live cat.
Yeah, I found some ads of them selling live rabbits
Apparently they are "self breeding", and the seller will send this poor animal to you through the mail!
There were several recommended ads like this
Also found this tacticool samurai armor for sale
While you were browsing your gay internet gossip forum, this man was studying the blade
Take a look at his prepper basement. He is ready for the inevitable collapse of society.
Are you?
I suppose that china has a different shipping system than we do. I am sure all of us are picturing christmas vacation with the grandma who wrapped up her cat but I bet they have some sort of disposable cages and food blocks they eat while caged. Could be wrong though, someone may need to delve into some bbses
I got an interesting lineup for tonight, figured we would start with one that I dived into just today after someone brought up evangelion. I have a little obsession with videocds, maybe I have mentioned it in previous posts but the bottom line is it was the vhs around the mid 90s to early 2000s (some even going to the 2010s). Anyways I was looking to see if I could find the end of evangelion on vcd, as I figured it would be an interesting item to add to my videocd collection and I found a couple of interesting things along the way
To start we have the end of "EVANAGELION"
This was an incredibly odd misspelling as this was included in a pack of the entire series, all of which was spelled correctly
We then have a more professional looking copy...
Until you look at the inside which has this groovy 70s looking font for some fucking reason
I also tried searching other parts of the title in chinese to see if EoE would pop up under more vague search results and while I found nothing that way I did find some other odds and end movies starting with none other than chinese skibidi toilet;
I then found this interesting film. I hope to find an english sub as it looks quite interesting. The cover gives very lawnmower man vibes but honestly looking into it, it seems as if it is some sort of drama.
From searching this it seems to be a movie known as 990714.com or Internet ghost stories.
Again if someone finds subs PLEASE let me know.
We then have this film, which seems to be by the same person as the previous skibidi chinklet movie...this time with a robot with a bunch of hands and people coming out of the hands:
If you look at the back you can see why I think its the same series/show/movie series:
Now off the topic of vcds I also did some snooping into a previously mentioned fake brand known only as IPOO. Searching this will get a number of results for a shitty slab phone known as the IQOO but buried in the results I found several listings of genuine "shit"
To start off we have a fully packaged turd sandwich
Not new obivously but with its box
and considering the lcd size and previous units of the ipoo I have see I suppose this is one of those two toned mono lcds that tons of generic units even to this day have. Should mention though that I did find a non mono lcd one, albeit it doesn't have any images of the unit powered on so for all I know its a gigantic mono screen. I doubt it though as these camera-shaped units seem to be a common form factor.
To drive that point home we have this one with a full camera on the back but for some reason where the shutter buttons usually are there is an a and b button. This ones going through an identity crisis or something.
To follow that up we have some mono units. This one had a video to go with it.

This one is odd cause it looks like they took the 1/2inch ipod shuffle clone screens then expaneded it to fit half of this things front. Following that up there is also this unit that looks like a mini clone. Despite being displayed with wireless Huawei earbuds it obivously cannot connect to them and the when translated the description reads headphones not included. I really don't know who they were trying to fool into thinking this landfill fodder would ever connect to bluetooth.
unfortunately not a miscroscope, just emits laser light to detect fluorescence on a microarray. The most fun I can imagine having with it is putting fluorescent dyes in the wells and getting some pixel art out of it. Probably not worth the entrance fee.
I remember when looking at vcds I got some erotic recommendations for one movie for some reason and the cover was really odd so I wouldnt be suprised if its some wierd ahh bugs or aliens or some shit like that.
