There is a strange form of Anti-americanism in Canada (garden-variety Antiamericanism goes more towards "they terk r jerbs" and "they want to own all our shit and leave us with nothing") that is prevalent both in Metropolitan East Coast centers and along both coasts (east and west). She didn't voice Tommy. Elizabeth Daily (Buttercup on Powerpuff Girls, and Dottie in Pee-Wee's Big Adventure) did.

Tara voiced Tommy's brother Dil, a role which consisted mostly of screaming and crying. He talked in the All Grown Up spinoff show, but nobody liked that so it doesn't count.

Yeah, some of the biggest assholes I know are Canadians, to whom the regularly accused "Asshole Americans" (such as prominent celebs/media figures) couldn't hold a candle. Atlantic Canada seems to generate a lot of them for some reason.

Only in Canada would they make something like the "World's Biggest Hockey Stick", and give it to a SMALL town that just about every kid wants to LEAVE AND NEVER RETURN when they grow up.

Yeah, the irony surrounding the cognitive dissonance of a show's message and the actors' political activities on Twitter would simultaneously bring Professor Frink's Irony Detector into existence, and destroy it instantly.

Interesting bit of trivia: Since pretty much all Dil did was scream and cry, they actually decided to save money and free up a booth by just having a guy follow Tara around with a boom mic as she went about her day-to-day activities since that's pretty much all she does anyway.
