A 3lb slab of old style dry cure bacon, I love this stuff as long as it's kept dry it will last indefinitely.

Also got myself a air dryer for herbs, it's like a low power food dehydrator with better air flow I'm planning on drying more of my own herbs this year and I've over panted and don't want to have herbs drying all over the place so this is a nice happy shortcut i'm going to see how much of a flavour change there is from the slow air dry to the faster one, I suspect the faster ones will taste stronger just because of the speed.

I've also ordered a fuck load of jars with seals to store them in, but they wont be here till next week, hard to find jars with rubber seals at the moment in smaller sizes, if it came down to it I'd just order jam jars an wax seal them but it stood out as something a bit weird to go low stock on in a particular size range.

OK, so y'all know Yu-Gi-Oh!, yea? Early 2000's, children's card game cartoon / phenomena? Well I really like Yu-Gi-Oh! but really H-A-T-E what it became: Competitve, unhygienic, fat, try-hards taking it way too seriously + gambling because for some reason that's the de-facto TCG monetization model. Anyways, I'm happy to report that, if you're anything like me, there's a ton of ways to D-D-D-D-Duel without having to engage with the "Yugioh Community" or monetarily support Konami (the company behind the game). For example, check out:

Final Saga. The business itself also has a channel. Their first-main product was 5 (60-Card) Battle City replica decks (Yugi, Kaiba, Joey, Marik, Bakura) in the style of the 4Kids dub replacement cards.

The decks are designed for immediate play with one-another, and each comes with a companion booklet explaining card effects. The card effects, and even some of the cards themselves, have been modified to more accurately reflect what they did in the show. Similarly, they encourage-recommend playing with rules that more closely align with those of the show. On their channel they have some demos:
- Yugi vs Kaiba #1
- Kaiba vs Joey #1
- Yugi vs Kaiba #2
- Kaiba vs Joey #2

tl;dr - What was your autistic purchase?

I went to the thrift store today and found a naked Mickey Mouse plush. It was weird because the face looked very new but there were no rips or stitches on him where clothing might've been torn off. I have never seen a recent Mickey plush where the clothing is removable.

I bought him and am going to see if I can make him an outfit based on the prince Mickey in Disney's Prince and the Pauper adaption. It would go great with my Queen of England Minnie and Buckingham Palace guard Mickey from Epcot.

I have a King of England Mickey but kinda don't wanna display him...

I normally wouldn't post about something until I have it in my hands, but I had to pay the full cost upfront to preorder and I'm pretty overwhelmed with autism about this one:
DX Chogokin SDF1.png

Product Page

Bandai DX Chogokin SDF-1 releases in November. It's the biggest DX Chogokin so far and will dwarf big Macross legends like the Yamato DYRL SDF-1 or the Takatoku TV SDF-1.

Kazutaka Miyatake, the original designer of the SDF-1, was heavily involved in the design of the new toy and seems genuinely thrilled about it. There's a great promo interview with him on the product page HERE

LED dimming stickers.

In my defense, they were in the dollar bin at the Amazon returns store, but OTOH I am unironically using them. Had to take the masking tape off my microwave's display (and the blu-tac off my PC speaker indicators) to put them on.

Book trying to be banned again Camp of the Saints.

A fan-made cloth bag based on a TF character I like. It was the last one ok? And a Shaymin plush. Mama Starscream got me a dinky dollar store Optimus keychain too recently, said it reminded her of me.

A 1:400th scale model kit for the Japanese WW2 ship Yamato.
No I don't care about naval history.
Yes I paid out the ass on shipping cost due to tariffs.
Yes I bought it because of one scene from a video game I didn't even really like the plot of.
Yes I'm going to put it together while at work.
No I don't have anywhere to display it.
