Can confirm this is the case, anecdotally my firm put a hard cap on daily (and weekly) token allotments at the start of the month in preparation. You need more tokens? You're not getting them - and in fact they just did a RIF which impacted several AI focused software architect positions which were burning tokens at Amazon/NVIDIA levels so doubly so.

Only select companies will avoid the cost increase, in part because they are responsible for the infrastructure which enables mass LLM usage in the first place.

Beef is like the Egg crisis, only they've been squeezing it for longer. The USDA is trying to encourage increased production, and there is some movement, but it takes a long time. It takes years for cattle herds to increase production, and we probably will see supply improvements start next year, however it looks like the market is reluctant to go all in on increasing output because a Democrat administration in 2028 will shut it all down.

Beef elimination is one of the obsessions of the Carbon cultists, and just like various evils like windmills, electric vehicles, and oil independence suicide, they have been very successful. Beef producers have been getting strangled, and currently their making money on cattle for the first time in a long time. Article I read said they were making $2 a head previously and that's up to ~$500, and the ranchers interviewed were reinvesting, but it looking it up it seems like the market as a whole is moving slowly on the issue.

It's somewhat baffling how much press the USS Liberty gets. Like yes, its obviously a big deal, but all named parties involved agree it was an accident, if tragic.

Compare that to the Lavon Affair (an attempted bombing of American/French/British places in Eygpt to draw them into the 6 day war) where the affected parties (America, UK, and France) agree it was a false flag attack by Israel, the country it happened in (Eygpt) agrees it was a false flag attack by Israel, and the country that perpetrated the attack (Israel) agrees that it was a false flag attack by Israel.
