Even if they take my ability to say nigger on this site, I'll just go on Twitter or League of Legends and say it instead, if anything they're doing the Internet a disservice by doing this
 
We're literally having a DDoS on the level of something that even Microsoft would have trouble weathering and basically saying "blow me." When are you tards going to give up?

I love nool's description of it as a "kitchen sink" attack. Literally throwing every possible attack at us simultaneously.

And guess what? Blow me.

It is likely closer to 1Tbps between all providers, I think one of the guys we host with is blowing smoke out his ass about how great he is because he informed me that he was eating >1Tbps after I had been told that the attack was over because the attacker was bored and the site had come back up.

Thank you for the updates and for all your work on this. I'd be curious to see a post-mortem once this storm clears off. It feels like an escalation (without checking back on the previous numbers you've posted). I'm skeptical of Cloudflare's numbers (they're trying to sell people a product that barely works, after all), but it's clear someone moved some decent money to make this happen. I'm glad you're managing to tip the scales in the asymmetry between attack costs and defense costs in DDoS's (assuming you don't have to build out your own system, as you mentioned may be a possibility).

Above said, I wish you could add features with your time, or you know- sleep, instead of dealing with this kind of shit.

honestly it does not really matter since they are all using the same methods either way. be it an actual legit party or just an angry troon who has decided to throw their life savings at taking down the evil bird website. that being said if i absolutely had to guess i think its just some people who feel like testing out exactly how effective tartarus is by throwing every single possible thing at it to find a weak point.

that type of thing has been going on for as long as i can remember. a website exists and makes mention of a security system and retards go "hm let me try and break past this to prove how cool and smart i am" the wall gets rebuilt stronger and the other parties throw rocks in hopes of exposing a weak point. its an endless cycle that will never truly end until a way to entirely nullify DDoS attacks is created that isnt just "send it somewhere else" or "make robot solve puzzle" granted those work and all but there is only so much you can do. even when we had cloudflare there were still DDoS attacks.

Actually, I wouldn't surprised if this latest attack was a collaboration between trannies and lolicons. Those are the kind of niggers that live off neetbux and love to waste them on frivolous things, like a DDOS attack on some forum.
