Ash is a documentary film maker and furry who stayed with the tranch for a while, including during the infamous night time armed raid and overlapping with the Kindness arc too if I remember right.
There was a lot of build up for his film, there was a website and everything, but after he left it was nothing but stress posting. I think he was in a difficult place because he knew he should reveal things like blatant grifting, or bad animal conditions, or lying about the “attack”, but it would have been the end of his career as a trans artist. In the end it was just quietly dropped.
Ironically, he could do a hit piece on them now and most of Bluesky would be on his side. Especially since he’s fully trooned out.

Not just that, but he was filming the big tranch documentary at the absolute peak of the Kindness arc, when she was pretending to be blind and pissing everybody off, the structure of the tranch capos crumbling in real time as Penny and Fedposter J forced Bonnie out and he fucked off back to wherever with Kindness, destroying his marriage to Sky in the process. Ash then crashed out and refused to finish the doc until a financier forced him to, it was edited with all footage of Kindness and her effects on the tranch removed, most likely deleted entirely never to be found again by anyone, I don't think she even appeared incidentally in the background in any scenes, and the documentary ends with the tranch having fallen apart for some reason never explained. It was quickly rushed out to the bare minimum of film festivals to fulfill contractual obligations then swiftly never mentioned again. It's very hard to get ahold of but I'm sure a few Kiwis have it.

What's funny about it is that it's the exact type of documentary that could become a cult classic at the very least and propel Ash into being able to make proper documentaries. But his refusal to barely touch on the subject just shows you that just like YWNBAW, he'll also NBAD (Never Be A Documentarian).
