Pretty much. They actually seemed a little lost during Obama's presidency. They had to blame everything they didn't like on "America", somehow avoiding putting any blame whatsoever on the guy running America. All the Dobsons out there were probably secretly relieved when Trump got elected, because it gives them someone concrete to focus on hating, be popular for hating, and feel righteous for hating.

She is also known for making fun of Jack Thompson for having heart problems and suggesting we should send him poison candy. Here are plenty of other things the GamerGate people found on her.

To people like Dobson, it means they have an excuse for being a failure for approximately 4 years. Give or take an impeachment or reelection.
If Hillary had won, they'd be busy being smug and whitewashing everything that's not perfect... but they would also be faced with the sad truth: "We won... now where do I go from here?"
So yeah... in secret or unconciously, they might be relieved that they have someone to blame for everything that's wrong with their lives.
This whole thing has become like some autistic, inflated 2-minutes of hate thing that's been expanded to a whole 4 years of autistic screeching only ever interrupted by short bursts of utter insanity like the one quoted below.
Trump's an incompetent blowfan that talks like an idiot with a bloated self-image, but to go to these lengths is amazing, even for Dobson.
If this is all it took for him to entirely abondon his pacifist convictions, he never was a pacifist. Not like that's news or anything, I am aware I am preaching to the choir here, but geez. This is incredibly autistic, even by Dobson-Standards.
Also, this whole thing goes to show how immature and ignorrant this guy actually is.
As you can see, I am not a fan of Trump either, but what did he do that is bad enough to warrant such a reaction? Dobson is just living inside his bubble where he's blissfully unaware of all the shit that's going on globally, so some dimwitted pussygrabber going "We don't want Trannies in our army" seems to be his biggest concern and the most evil person alive.
A mindset entirely based on cartoon-logic.

Holy shit. That's just downright psychotic. And it took Trump only being an inept and bumbling political muppet, to draw this kind of wrath upon himself. He didn't even have to erect the Taco-Wall, Concentration Camps, or gas every single LGBTQ, POC, whatever minority is hip. In Dobson's fucked up world view even Kim Jong Un or the Sheiks in Saudi Arabia, or the Mullahs in Iran seem to get a pass, compared the Donald.
