Jeets were always going to be the first to go with AI adoption becoming more widespread. I would wager at least 75% of those employed via H1B were already using it to write all of their code anyway, so it's straight up cheaper and more efficient to cut them and just have some white guy run 5 agents in the background instead
You are right that Jeets are the first to use AI. My clients are rolling it out and they require people to request to be added to the AD groups, get a license, etc. One of my teams gets those requests and processes them. Once AI use is approved you see an absolute flood of requests from every single jeet in a company to get access to it. It's quite amazing to watch really, even if they hear a rumor that Claude or Codex or what have you is available, they start demanding access to it, even if they're in say, Marketing or Medical Research. This is even if they're told basically "no, you can't use AI in your role," they gave up trying to enforce that shit real quick.
What you're wrong is thinking it's cheaper for a white guy to run 5 agents in the background instead. A jeet can be a prompt jockey just fine -- and a jeet, or someone from the Philippines, or someone in Singapore, or someone in Mexico, or a Canadian (which means a jeet), they can prompt jockey for a fraction of what an American would cost. If you could pay a Jeet $20k to run an agent all day or an American a living wage to do so, the Jeet is the only one that makes sense. And the rather blatant hope is that they'll get the LLMs up to the point that the Jeet + LLM can match the output of a white man. (Of course, long term, they don't want the Jeet either. Read
Manna, ignore the fully automated communism, because the guy was prescient as fuck and this is absolutely where we're headed.)
What we're seeing in my clients that hasn't really been talked about lately is they're having the 20% of the white workforce they haven't laid off yet -- the white tard wranglers doing the work while the empty headed jeets izzat farm and pull chaalaki games pretending to work -- train the AIs, whether they know it or not.
The Jeets have started demanding my team write down things in plaintext, bullet point lists without abbreviations or tech jargon in emails and teams chats and the like. It's rater obvious they want us to do so in order for LLMs can be trained on it. They also want us writing down our thought processes, anticipated challenges or problems with implementations, and plan Bs.
One company working with us has apparently made this a product: Hoovering up as much data as they can for companies and training experts in what the white men are doing so jeets can just as Mr. Computer for help.
If this works, great, awesome, I'd love Clippy 2.0: This time it actually fucking works helping me do my job. But that's not what we're gonna get. We're gonna get pink slips and then Rakanishu will be given our jobs until Clippy 3.0 can replace Rakanishu.
