Unfortunately discussions at the time tended to get drowned out by people wanting to focus on shitting on Hasan (which is what the Hasan thread is for) and praising Ethan as /ourguy/ (he absolutely is not, what he's doing to reddit is the same thing he could try to do to us). It's why I stopped posting in this thread so much, because at various points this didn't feel like a lolcow thread but just an offtopic thread for H3 fans.

He didn't focus on casting doubt on the validity of the CPS or skulls, he just went with the simple argument that it's patently absurd to say the actions of a few anonymous bad actors are necessarily representative of everyone in a community of tens of thousands of people, and that Ethan is transparently using what genuine harassment he has received as casus belli to attempt to deplatform his critics entirely.

The problem is it's trying to do too many things at once. It's assessing claims about Hasan, providing a factual narrative of H3 Leftovers era-Present, providing legal commentary on the merits of H3's case, considering the ethical inconsistencies of Ethan's approach to lawfare, providing exposes on a variety of H3 orbiters who make Hasan hate content etc. The scope is too broad. Even if a bit more targeted, it shouldn't take a half hour to provide the background of the Hoss lawsuit, Frenemies and Ethan using Trishyland, the fallout of Leftovers etc - particularly when there's a later separate deepdive on CPS.

Given this seems to be mostly a recap of existing information, it'd make more sense to split out the sources to avoid covering them in excessive detail and turn this into a series of significantly shorter videos. The lack of brevity is why there's been such a back and forth in this thread.

The point of the video is to shit talk Ethan Klein, and the endless ranting about the video is derailing the thread's ability to shit talk Ethan Klein.
