Men who are frustrated at treatment they get for being a shorter height have my sympathy. Because he's so self centered and autistic he believes he is not the problem. He doesn't have to change his personality or train his social skills (which is a painful process full of social rejection) when he can just use this one simple trick to get out of it. These simple tricks boil down to the least amount of effort possible: take a pill or throw money at it. Thus, the later.
"But leg surgery is painful, Amholio!" A guy with this level of autism that blends into narcissism feels more pain when his ego is buckbroken than when his legs are. It's why OD and side effects don't matter, nothing is as painful as being rejected or told he is ugly/stupid/gay/weak. I honestly don't understand his goals in life since he:

The only thing he seems to stick with is that he likes drugs, he likes to show off how important he is, he likes being pretty, and he likes to be respected. I really don't know if he has other goals in life other than appearing and appearing important, aside from copious amounts of coke and meth. He found success, but I have no idea if he'll find happiness unless he becomes the sugar baby of a big pharmaceutical executive (either gender) and can do all the drugs he wants with unlimited money.
