Returning to the thread topic, I'm curious what Phil will do once Sonju no longer has use of him. From the move, it sounds like Sonju is making changes in life, and I doubt that accommodates Phil. Tattoo artists tend to be passionate about their work, and there's only so long the money will be good enough to waste ink on someone who's going to end up in a gutter.

Actually, I'm a bit more curious about what Phil will do when he runs out of room, and I'm not entirely sure even Sonju would want to tattoo his fat ass. Phil's tattoos really aren't planned out. As I said they seem to be impulse purchases. Whatever he wants it is interested in at the moment. And he just wants to fill up empty skin too. While I agree Sonju will eventually move on, the question is, will it be before Phil runs out of space? He's not there yet but it's gotta be coming up sooner or later.

I wonder if Phil might be able to find someone else willing to tattoo him even after all his antics. There's always SOMEOME after all, though it might necessitate slumming it, and I don't see Phil as the type to do that. He's too much of a pussy.

I think he's just working on making more room for more tattoos.

I just looked at one of his photos from only a couple months ago and it's actually shocking how big even just his throat has gotten.
Someone once said that Phil's constant riding of Greyhound is his version of "travel", something he sees normal people doing but doesn't have the brains to do himself. I think tattoos are the same analog to a life accomplishment. Phil does it because he thinks it's a sign that he's succeeded somewhere in life. This is another reason Phil brags about his tattoo plans on FB... he thinks we expend tons of energy to try and stop him, and every time he gets inked he's successfully "thwarted" us.

Maybe I'm getting too far into pop psychology here but you might be on to something. People usually get tattoos to commemorate a milestone or significant achievement in their lives. Perhaps Phil's tattoos are just another component of his delusional fantasy life that have begun to seep into reality.

I'm sure someone would do it. Money's money. Although I doubt most of them would make the allowances Sonju does for Phil.

I find Phil's tattoos quite interesting. They basically seem to be an autistic version of a kid doodling on a sketchbook - minimum artistic skill, no forethought, no planning. I wonder if he has any that he now regrets?

We'll have the Hepatitis saga for sure if he ever has to find another tattoo artist.

I've always seen Phil's ink as one of his crap ways of trying to make his delusions more real for himself. He thinks that if he gets a tattoo of it then it has to be real since people get tattoos of major life events sometimes. He also wants people to see all of this to confirm to himself that he's a special snowflake. He also does it to feel more edgy and tough because tough guys have scary tattoos everywhere and no one messes with them (lol). Of course you need tattoos that are a little less "1st grade crayon art" to actually be intimidating.

In Phil's case, they probably do deter most people because he looks like a mentally ill homeless guy. Nobody even wants to touch him or be near him if they can avoid it. But he generally avoids actual street people who wouldn't give a shit and would recognize a soft pile of shit like Phil on sight.

People have been telling Phil there's something wrong with him for years. It's not like he's going to change now, even though it might finally be self-evident.

He's kind of the extreme, but entirely logically, outgrowth of the "you are whatever you feel" culture. He found an autistic little hugbox where nobody ever told him no, and they reinforced his delusions by saying anyone who criticized him was wrong, and look at what we've got now; an autistic man covered in scribbles, decked out in bondage gear, calling himself a translatinx princess and obsessed with bicycle accessories he'll never use. It's pathetic. I'm not saying he'd turn out great with a little guidance or hand holding, but I'm guessing it would have been better than he is now, and he'd probably be happier too. I mean yeah even beyond the autism he has some very real personality issues that keep people away but even that's not insurmountable.

Phil needs to fucking get his balls back. He will die in the short term if he doesn't.

All the cards are stacked against this not being the case.

I don't personally believe he is diabetic, but if he is his vision is at stake, losing a limb is at stake. The hormones his gonads made would have helped him if his health collapsed, as it seems to be doing now.
