Pippa has in the past said that the reason she doesn't live alone is because of her pets, and her parent's tendancy to neglect them. Little sad to see that she wasn't lying about it.

There is no way she left a living creature she cares abut with either of them. "Breederkin" apparently reused mouthwash by spitting it back in to the bottle. She also made her children do the same according to Pippa. The other one she named "Schizokin" which speaks for itself. As I am writing this I am reminded of Pippas cognitive abilities, so her having left the rabbit with on of them isn't entirely out of the question.

According to her, her parents were with her on the trip, so it was someone else.
 
It's possible that the bunny had GI stasis. Its the kind of thing you only notice if you're familiar with them. A lay person might just think they're being lazy or something.
