She was on massive doses of sedatives while intubated because she kept coming around and fighting the tube, so constipation isn't unheard of, but the ICU usually keeps on top of tracking what comes out and comparing to what went in (simple weight math, nothing poopy). This either happened before she got the respiratory virus, Timp seriously dropped the ball (x), or Britanny is the one full of shit.
It's really awful, I've seen one patient die from it (extremely late admitting to hospital, drug addiction) but have heard stories from others that are nightmare inducing. Bny is odd with her info sharing, I think it's because she's stupid as fuck. I think you're right. I am starting to think that the physicians told BNY that Revie is very constipated, and BNY simply does not think it is important enough to share. Or, she is currently excited about X or Y issue with this child instead and talking about her kid not shitting would make it less dramatic.

As discussed, in ICU you're being monitored very closely and it seems a bit unusual that Revie would have been left constipated for so long she ended up having faecal vomiting. If your patient hasn't pooped in 2 days you want to get things moving.
Being intubated isn't necessarily related, but being in bed and not active definitely makes things slow down, plus as mentioned opioids will slow the gut. And that's in a normal person with normal physiology.

Basically in Poland sometimes you have a situation in which nurse delegates easier nursing tasks to the family of the patient, however it only happens in a non very intense wards. Then the nurse only gives meds and takes blood and then the family changes diapers feeds the patient and whatever. It obviously shouldn't happen in the ICU. Yeah I know ICU stands for INTENSIVE care unit and ideally it's 1 nurse per 2 patients, however it can be worse. This is why I think this is what happened. Like remember there was lately an article in A&N about a patient dying in the ICU because there was only a TV doctor not an offline doctor. So in my opinion Timpanpeople said "okay you take care of Revie we take care of the tube and call us if anything goes south". And obviously this bitch didn't call them were things were going south.
Another scenario: Brittbitch is imagining this and it didn't happen or happened to a lesser extent, but if she says that Revie aspirated on her vomit, then her heart is fine and those cardiac arrests weren't as bad. 2. The education kinda matters anyway, even if those girls were only 80 IQ. Yes you can't teach a (slight) retard to be enjoy Shakespeare's works. But you can teach them to take care of themselves. There's a lot of good psychological theories around this. I think it depends on the level of cognition the person can reach, because I've seen some well nurtured kids with genetic disorders still be the equivalent of pets. You can send your child to another school 40 minutes or more by bus. Or you can just homeschool until your child finishes 8 years of primary school and goes to the high school.
