Indian H-4 visa holder describes a scheme to pay zero federal income tax by falsely reporting losses on rental properties. Despite being incredibly illegal, this is extremely common amongst H-1Bs.
Not only that, but I also read something - I forget if it was on the site or elsewhere - how the foreigners getting Federal loans for whatever purpose are defaulting on them and moving back to their native countries to avoid any financial consequences. It's absolutely disgusting to see them gaming the system when US citizens who want to start businesses need to cut though endless red tape and jump through countless hoops.
This is genuinely huge and I'm not sure why we aren't talking about it more. This does significant work in cutting off the jeet and paki scam machine. They get a loan, bring in a family member before they default, have their family member take out a loan, wash, rinse, repeat. We'll be seeing a lot less brown landlords soon.
It would be nice if it discourages foreign nationals from having questionable/shady business operations. Unfortunately, those determined to operate in the US will likely work harder at finding a US resident willing to front for them (and take the fall if things go south).

It would be hard without substantial proof. However, these are the people who deserve an IRS or state tax examination - the more thorough the better.
It really shows that these halfwits have never even negotiated to buy a house or a car and probably just pay sticker price.
I almost wonder if the current SocJus movement and political climate has deemed negotiation too problematic. It seems as if people trying to bargain expect the initial offer/demands to be accepted without objection or negotiation. Sometimes, the initial terms are good enough they only need to be slightly tweaked. Other times, they suck ass so bad the only correct response is a polite version of, "LOL, no, GFY and comeback with something better."
The real goal of her "Dignity Act" is to keep the illegals here so that they'll eventually receive citizenship
I recently saw an article about a police department who contacts the Feds any time a foreign national is stopped with an expired foreign license or improper/missing paperwork solely to ascertain the person is who they claim to be. Sometimes, it reveals someone who should be deported. The usual libs, ACLU, NGOs, etc. are all up in arms over this and feel the illegals being stopped need to be cited for a civil traffic infraction and let go without further consequence. This is the perfect -pill moment to show how those people unironically want illegal aliens to overrun the country and make it worse for everyone else.

Voter turnout for special elections generally runs lower than turnout for primaries or Election Day. That tends to favor the Vote Blue No Matter Who bunch and tips elections in their favor if the voting area doesn't lean red enough to offset that.
I wouldn't get too excited. Even if this fraud didn't exist, the money would still benefit California's illegal residents somehow.
