Alright, I’ll break it down:
College loans should actually be tripled in interest depending on the degree. Seeing fat black lesbians who do worthless shit like “African spiritual studies” should become a new slave class. It's legit hilarious to see someone get their life ruined by picking some gay racist bullshit degree that will never result in a job, yet somehow result in 100k in student loans. The best part is that both of them and the university are forever fucked because neither gets what they want. It's awesome seeing colleges be like "Nooo! We need that money because we have to pay the professor who teaches about African penis all day nooo~!" and the black people being like "lol garnish my wages, it ain't like I got a job anyways"
Also... You have to go to school these days for certain fields. All tech jobs for entry-level tech require a BA. Blame this on Jeet diploma mills fucking the whole system. Want to fix the job market? Legit either kill all jeets or make them forced to have American credited schools - not some homosexual Canadian scam system where they all turn into a small retail space near an Auto Zone and pretend to learn shit. Or even better, some jeet school where they allegedly have a doctorate because they wrote a three-page paper about sexuality and META, that is all AI published with biased jeet peer review that gets automatically stamped.
So, I dunno, feels like student loans are working to some degree. I think without Indian people, they would be worth it?
What needs to happen is universities need to downsize, stop trying to make the most money, and stop making promises to students that will never come true. It used to be that you'd go to school, earn an education (training) in a specialized role, and then get a job. Now schools are basically expensive adult daycare centers that need incredible bureaucracies to manage it all. Degrees are now worthless because everyone has one (oversaturation), universities have become a
service (pass the dumb kids so the parents keep paying tuition), and people get degrees they will never use unless they go into academia (lesbian dance therapy) - which they never do because an academic career pays shit. Payroll is expensive for university bureaucrats, so tuition goes up. Some institutions get by having researchers who bring in private endowment money and government grants, but that results in political jockeying. It is no longer important in academia whether your research is novel or rigorous. It
must be sexy. It has to generate a buzz so that an institution can advertise it and get money. No one cares about your research even if it's truly novel. You will not get anything other than an adjunct position teaching introductory classes for less than fast food wages unless your research brings money to the university. It's a business.
It's ruined the credibility of academia because it's no longer about who is intelligent, good at research, or even who does the work. It's become a bunch of carnies trying to impress the right people so they can get paid. The only way this will change is if academia relinquishes all this profit (fat chance) or if people stop attending. Even then, American universities increasingly recruit foreign students now because they can take an American diploma and translate it to a lucrative job in their home country.
Do not go to college unless you want to be a doctor, a lawyer, a scientist, an engineer, or you actually want to be an academic. Being working class is not bad, but I remember hearing many teachers tell kids "do you want to grow up to be a plumber?" like that's a bad thing. My plumber makes more money than I do and I have a degree. It's all a symptom of coastal elitism infesting education. Our education system is no longer designed to make good little workers, but it fucking should because now we have a glut of assholes working service jobs, for shit pay, in eternal debt, spending all their free time bitching on the Internet about Jews while Indians, Chinese, and champagne socialists loot the country.
