I own 8 cars and I don’t even make $45k a year and Ms. Confederate Woman has 3 to her name, the second two old cars she bought for fun and makes about the same as me. This isn’t difficult stuff. My LTD I got for $400 from my best friend that in turn got it for $200 on LetGo back in the day. He sold it to me, we put a fuel pump in it in his dad’s driveway, then I took it home, did brakes, water pump, timing chain and tires to have a total investment of $1200 when I got it on the road, have had three people try to buy it from me since. This stuff isn’t hard. Hell, I just bought a completely destroyed car recently for the fun of practicing welding and it’s a 1948 Chevy Fleetmaster for $200.
Broke kiwis, if I can grow up with nothing and do it, so can you. Just use your brain and stay optimistic. Things will be okay and it’s not the end of the world to be told no and have things break, just keep your ear to the ground
