Iran Crisis & the 2026 War between Iran and the United States, Gulf States, and Israel - Please focus on news and coverage, not argumentation.

and simps for Putin. Simple as.
Absolute bullshit. He's no different than Trump. If anything Trump is much harsher on zelinsky who I don't really give a fuck about. That war is still a failure, the reason I never go near those threads because both sides are absolutely deluded.

I think Trump had hoped for everything to be wrapped up in a week and the regime to either capitulate or topple. But when it didn't, the US was ready.

Then why did he say four to five weeks within the first day?

Trump said it himself the thing that they did not plan for was Iran attacking other Gulf States.

Let me clarify then.

They clearly expected a reaction from Iran, and a need to keep a hitting targets.

I think the hope was they ack'ed the Ayatollah and the next guy would do a 12-days war: Impotent show of force to prove he's not a bitch, and then sit down to the table to talk about what's next.
Within a week, the little tantrum would be mostly over and we'd have a Venezuela repeat where the IRGC stops killing protestors, gives up their nuke program, and lets actual opposition candidates run in the next election. The straight of Homos never closed during the 12 days war.

I think they also fully expected a situation where the central government might capitulate but given they had moved to "mosaic" defense that regional or area commanders might reject a stand down order and need to be put down.

Just because that was the hope doesn't mean that's what they were banking on as the most likely outcome. Plan B was very clearly fully formed; they had enough shit moved in position and it very clearly wasn't just for show. And that's why Trump is saying 4-6 weeks; they figured the likely outcome was 4-6 weeks of heavy bombing, but that doesn't mean they weren't ready for the hopium outcome of it being over sooner.

I think the biggest indicator that the Strait being closed this long/to this degree was not planned is that Allies SK & Japan or France/Italy were not given a heads up. Obviously they wouldn't be given D-day H-hour, but "yo you might want to make sure you are ready for Iran to chimp the fuck out and get some extra tankers moving"

Vance is close with Qucker and purportedly the one who is pushing pro-Putin talking points. He's come out with kind words for Putin. The number of times Putin has broken his word would have normally gotten a reaction from Trump by now.

That's not say your other point is wrong.
Trump had absolutely zero patience for Zelensky & his usual act, and I think his dislike of Zelensky is a large part of American inaction. Very likely due to Zelensky not restarting the criminal case against Hunter Biden and his employer.

I think my favorite part of the war this week was the europeans with their smug "WE WON'T HELP YOU TRUMP, YOU DUG YOUR OWN GRAVE LOL !!!1111", to then less than 72 hours later go "ACTUALLY WE DON'T HAVE ANY FUEL RESERVES, WE WILL RUN OUT OF GASOLINE AND HEATING IN 2 WEEKS, WE'RE GOING TO HELP, PINKIE PROMISE, HAAALP US!!111"

I think Trump needs to declare a ban on US oil exports or at least a 25% emergency export tariff (like we did here) to make domestic supply cheap, fuck those cunts, they won't even send a minesweeper.
Remember when Trump toyed with the idea of invading greenland for realz, they sent less than 100 troops total despite denmark begging for help.
Even Ukraine is sending more help than all of NATO combined by sending a few people with drone guns to saudi arabia or kuwait.

Vance is close with Qucker and purportedly the one who is pushin

Hasn't defended him in a long time. In fact the person inviting him and dealing with him in the white house has been Trump himself. You might have a point if he had continued to publicly associate with him but he really hasn't.

Let's face it Tucker lost his mind very quickly, I didn't agree with a lot of what he said a year ago but he didn't become completely untouchable until a few months ago. I think he's a liability, though he's put in an odd spot because Vance employs his son as a press aid. One of the more disgusting things I've seen is people like Laura loomer trying to get Vance to fire the Son for the sins of the father (never seen an interview with the son) like we have blood guilt or something.

I believe @ThisIsGonnaBeGood already posted the interview. But here is an article that points out something from that interview that I haven't seen mentioned in this thread yet.

"U.S. oil prices extended their decline Friday after Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said Washington may soon lift sanctions on Iranian crude stored aboard tankers, a move aimed at easing price pressures following Iran’s closure of the Strait of Hormuz.
[...]
“In the coming days, we may unsanction the Iranian oil that’s on the water, about 140 million barrels,” Bessent told Fox Business Network."

The US is winning so hard that they have to lift sanctions on Iran to keep it sporting.

Our favorite hawaiian shirt connoisseur has uploaded a new video, IMO it is worth paying attention to.

A couple of points worth mentioning and he expands on it even further in the video:
-All the ships and crew trapped within the Persian Gulf are running low on food and water and are at risk of starvation.
-Ships seems to be free to enter without going through the checkpoint.
-But ships wanting to leave the gulf don't trust the Iranian checkpoint no matter the vessel.
-Vehicle carriers are stuck in the gulf and is likely to affect the automotive sector.
-The rest are casualties, the Jones Act, lifting sanctions.

As I stated in my original post, this is oil that's already sitting in the ocean that would have otherwise gone to China at a heavy discount. Now it goes to everyone, China has to pay full price, and we're not even sure if the regime will see any profit from it with how many bank servers we've destroyed and accounts we've frozen.

Oh, well. Guess we'll just have to keep hitting it.

US Justice Department and the FBI disrupted Iranian Cyber Enabled Psychological Operations. The Justice Department announced the seizure of four domains as part of an ongoing effort to disrupt hacking and transnational repression schemes conducted by the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence and Security (MOIS). ️ The seized domains were used by the MOIS in furtherance of attempted psychological operations targeting adversaries of the regime by claiming credit for hacking activity, posting sensitive data stolen during such hacks, and calling for the killing of journalists, regime dissidents, and Israeli persons. I hope Iran gives up soon this war is really gay and boring now. Not even got any cool shit like missile launchers to blow up anymore, all the footage is just gonna be lame non-descript buildings.
Elon needs to airdrop more Starlinks into Iran so they can upload more footage. Then I remember the footage they were uploading during the 12 Day War, which was mostly pitch black videos of them yelling Aloha Snackbar while you hear an explosion, and I changed my mind.

The only thing that could kinda save it is if Iran starts plastering AI generated sandniggers on cardboards, claiming them to be their leader and fooling both the US and Israel by having them chase non-existent people.

Did not see mention of it upthread within the last 48 hours, nor with the search terms 'executed', 'hanging', or 'hung'.

Three Iranian teenagers were tortured and hung in Iran, with many many others stated to be at risk of execution. Live and Archive.
