Null, is there a reason for the $20 minimum for the checks? I think you might get more bites if supporting the site didn't cost more than the standard Netflix subscription. If you made a 10 or 5 dollar tier or something around that range I think you'd see a significant increase in user donations. Five to ten bucks people can more easily mentally write off as a cup of coffee or something to that effect. I imagine you've already considered it but I haven't seen the reasoning mentioned.

Is this just a limitation of processing checks/other technical problem? There's been a few times where I considered setting up a recurring donation but ultimately don't because I don't interact enough with the site to "justify" the $20 a month cost.

Next week I'm throwing my cash at the fundraiser. I don't got much, but I'm going to donate. This is literally the only place I bother posting on the internet anymore, everything else is such trash. Praying we got some rich kiwis willing to donate a lot :feels: I know they are out there considering some of the halal'd users were wealthy and related to influential people

Of course every dollar helps, and I added some cash of my own cash, but it does give me hope in these dark times of free speech censorship to see such generous kiwis.
