Iran Crisis & the 2026 War between Iran and the United States, Gulf States, and Israel - Please focus on news and coverage, not argumentation.

I've not heard of a submarine being used in warfare since the Battle of the Atlantic. (Though they where also heavily used against Japanese merchant vessels aswell if I'm correct)
iirc first USA sub kill since ww2, first total since Falklands in 80s and then you have to go back to some shitfit between India and Pakistan in the 70s

odd , they kept posing themselves as being this staunch anti zionist state. West Europe is honestly flip floppy but than again most states it's just realpolitik like in the last few years of assad even tho posing as a secular arab republic they supported the taliban after they took power

didn't know , thank you

They were used constantly against anything that flew a Japanese flag merchant or otherwise.

Also if you watch the video the ships keel snaps, this torpedo is a ship killer.

And this ship wasn't some ex-shah ww2/korea era sell off, this ship was laid down in 2012, launched in 2015 and completed in 2021. In many ways it was one of the most advanced ships of the IRIN.

Makes sense, among the Kurdish groups we've been supposedly talking to it's not just the native ones in northern Iran but also the groups in Northern Iraq, If some portion of that kurdish incursion is going to be coming from northern Iraq they probably want to get anyone uninvolved the fuck out.
After Kurdish loses in Syria their going to attempt to gain ground , they might use this for offensives into Turkey. yaaaay

Good ol' Kissinger

I would, presently, be laughing about how the very fat, very rich shiekh types and white-collar criminals living in Dubai are shitting themselves right now out of fear, but it’s less funny when I know people who have evacuated. I literally have gone to two of the places Iran struck, in the past months.

They killed anyone who wasn't Japanese even people from the Southern Islands known as Ryukyuans where considered subhumans and forced to commit mass suicide or handed grenades to attack american GI with , often our troops found entire villages of nothing but corpses. these where their own people might I add and they still thought of them as lesser or look up the Ainu , I knew a girl who was semi ainu. she hated the japs , japs are horrible people even to their own kind
Still can't find any fault.

Iran is alot like North Korea , their strength is in asymmetrical warfare. thats how they got good at training groups abroad , they developed alot of these tactics themselves. same as how cuba had years training on guerrilla warfare they trained terrorist groups abroad using those tactics. (Just for the record I know the cuban bit because I had family who where trained by the KGB and worked as intelligence officers in the regime or fought in Angola or directly with che so I do have knowledge of how cuban tactics work)

Still can't find any fault.
I mean fair enough , they also killed whites if that makes any difference. like alot of white people and framed it as de-colonization

It's the kurds, they will go into this thinking they will gain ground, and then be told to back and sit in their "no state of our own" chair in the corner.

On the topic of Turkey though I wouldn't be surprised if we end up seeing a repeat of their play in Syria where the Turks rush in and sieze "buffer zones" both to control possilbe refugee movement and also just a buffer against kurdish forces in the region.

Thread tax, @Catch The Rainbow minimizes rabbi's jewish supremacist quote, so I will post what I always do:
Wyświetl załącznik 8652662
So yes, this unimportant fringe rabbi who happened to have roughly 10% of the entire population of Israel attend his funeral was unimportant because the quote is from 2010... surely he would have said more stupidly racist shit more recently, if you know, he was still alive and didnt die in 2013.

Catch, this has been pointed out after your minimizations multiple times. Repeating this dance makes you look bad, the attempt at minimization is surely knowingly done in bad faith and probably makes the general inferences and accusations of pervasive loxism and jewish tricks seem frighteningly endemic. Quit dying on this hill, you're making jews look worse.
This is a stupid argument. Pope Francis actively promoted mass immigration from the Third World into the US and Europe, openly telling Italian officials that African immigrants would make up for the low birthrates of native Italians. Under his direction, Catholic organizations spent billions trying to achieve that goal. When he died, 250k Catholics attended his funeral and the entire Catholic community mourned. Does that mean every Catholic supported every single one of his policies?

I also never claimed he was unimportant. The reason why so many people attended his funeral is because he was a great scholar who also advocated for Sephardi and Mizrahi Jews at a time when they were discriminated against by the Israeli government.

making up strawmen is pathetic

Sir you are minimizing the achievements of the GLORIOUS DEMOCRATIC PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF KOREA and their sinking of the US lapdog Southerner Corvette in 2010
didn't know , thank you
And the ROKN Corvette in 2009 by North Korea

Honestly feel kind of bad for Syrians in all of this. Iran shoots missiles over them and Israel intercepts them in Syrian airspace to avoid debris falling in Israel, so it falls on Syrians instead. Couple that with Iran using extremely shitty and faulty tech (since they can't buy the good Western stuff) that misfires or crashes before ever reaching its target, plus extremely shitty and faulty intelligence that causes them to mislocate targets, and Syrians end up being casualties without even participating in the war.

Not to mention the fact that the more unstable Syria is, the less likely it is that countries like Germany will deport any significant numbers of them.
