Rules-based order was a farce constructed by a post-1945 world and reinforced in 1989. According to it's doctrines, no one can be a legitimate state actor unless they are a democratic state and have free elections (read if you are a poor shithole we have a right to subvert your country through bribery and fraud), and if you are anyway against that you are held as anathema and to be destroyed. Perfect example is organizations like the IMF being weaponized to force countries policies into globohomo world order.

Thankfully it seems to finally be dying and we are going back to the reality of realpolitick.

Before this kicked off various news outlets talked about the degraded capacity of Iranian air defences. Was that still true, 8 months or so after the previous war and does is it even factor in or is the American technology just so that much better that they could have stomped Iran like this at any point in time?

Also what happened with the much feted hypersonic missiles? I saw one video with some distortion but nothing else.
