Iran Crisis & the 2026 War between Iran and the United States, Gulf States, and Israel - Please focus on news and coverage, not argumentation.

Trump was a political newcomer during his first term and he hadn't taken full control of the GOP yet, so it was harder to get things done. Also, a bunch of external geopolitical things have happened in the last few years that have made acting against these regimes easier (Russia being tied up in Ukraine, the weakening of the Axis of Resistance post 10/7, the domestic situation in Iran deteriorating enough to weaken the regime, etc.).
I'd even go as far to say Trump's first time through thought he could win people on both sides over, not realizing just how desperately disgusting the GOP and Democrat parties both were. He faced a lot of challenges trying to win them over and just found there's no parleying with insanity.

So Trump 2 is taking the bulldozer and doing what he wants and saying fuck all. He's got more ardent supporters due to the madness of covid-19, the cancel mobs ruining the good will of the more middle-ground people, and just knowing he only has this second term to get shit done. He has nothing to fear about losing now that he can't be up for re-election.

Breaking news. Trump is now air dropping pamphlets over iran that is just a McDonald's menu with an attached picture of himself eating a big Mac combo and chicken nuggets during Ramadan.

The world looks on in horror at this vile, hateful war crime.

Those pants-shitting miggers have lost by winning or something idk

Did you see my post in the Mass Debates thread or did you come across this yourself? If it's the former I'm quite flattered.
Hm depends how this goes doesn’t it?
To play devil's advocate, I doubt this will have a positive effect on the midterms even if things go perfectly. Iranians aren't large or concentrated enough for them to meaningfully effect the outcome and history shows that even the greatest of foreign policy successes can fail to translate into electoral victories (just ask H.W. Bush; the man presided over the end of the cold war AND the stunning victory that was Desert Storm only to get booted out of office by Bill Fucking Clinton).

Cant wait for trump to call him the Dieatollah.

Also reading the Iranian X and telegram.
> we will redouble our efforts
> we have not even begone our retaliation
> why this has only strengthened our resolve
> martyrdom is the dream of every servant of Allah
> etc etc

like nigga! not everything is a secret victory. Sometimes this shit is just a bummer.

I'm sure they want to, and are trying, but things are probably harder now given that 30,000 of them were murdered by the regime just a few weeks ago. Aside from random people being gunned down in the streets, leaders and organisers were likely targeted and killed to mute any cohesion. So it is probably more difficult to organise communities, and that combined with fear of being gunned down in the streets a second time, plus general uncertainty over the US-Israeli airstrikes, is going to convince a lot of people to sit tight and see what happens. And Trump did call for that - he said stay safe for now, but come out when this is over and take back your country.

So we will see. Further degradation of the regime may embolden the public to take action. Prolonged uncertainty may dissuade them. We can only hope things go the right way.
This. Terrify the hell out of military leadership, and make the normal soldiers panic, stay home, be afraid to act on orders because they think they will be rounded up if/when things get serious and then you push the civilians to take matters into their own hands. I'd imagine they don't want to hit the streets if the regime gets desperate and starts shooting anything that moves.
I'd be hiding if I thought the council was electing me the next Supreme Leader and there needs to be a total degradation before things move ahead (admittedly it could end up being a total shitstorm)

I'm so sick of these "distraction arguments" you morons keep bringing up especially when the "distraction" would do far more harm to the administration if they were fumbled.

Take the Maduro capture for example. Just imagine if the guys that nabbed him instead got nabbed themselves and were then paraded on TV. Do you actually think the Epstein crap would be more harmful to the administration than the capture of a US Special Forces team that failed to remove a world leader from power? No. And unlike the Epstein crap, there would have been no way Trump could have escaped scrutiny. It's the same thing here. The fact you people think putting American troops in harms way is politically a good way to distract from some supposed scandal that the administration was involved in is retarded.
I never did say it would be a good way to achieve it

Well maybe not iran killed 30000 people but those people have families probably semi large interconnected families which now have an axe to grind and with the regime looking weak it might inspire a few to violence.

Fair.

This is something that if it goes wrong will have very bad effects, and if it goes right will have minimal positive ones(domestic issues are the primary concerns). So unless some trade deal happens that has real good outcomes on large swath Americans (unlikely)this will be ignored in the midterms.

Pretty amazing how much busted glass there was around yesterday's impact site. It's already being repaired so I couldn't get too close.
Probably a Jeet.
Israel got that fuul support saar.
She was a social worker helping a senior citizen so probably Philippine. Giving a Jeet the job to take care of an old person is just evil.
Also a technical second death due to a different senior citizen heart attack on the way to the shelter.

Ya know, I was checking one of my previously mentioned xitter third worldist/duginist shills and saw them bitterly and unironically post this
Funny thing, I had just seen a post about Jakob Rosenfeld, a jew who fled Austria in 1937 and went to Shanghai, where he became a doctor for the Chinese troops, joined the Communists, and became a general under the Reds. In 1949, he went back to Austria to see which of his parents survived WW2, only for the CCP to deny his entry back to the country.

Really makes you think which IPs dilated the hardest about muh ZOG here and on the other sites, but whatever.

Ayatollah was ACKed, together with 50% of leadership. 50% - US and Israel still has a lot of work to do, as regime did not fall yet. Which makes me ask - how long will the operation take, realistically speaking? Don't get me wrong, seeing dune coons raped by missiles is ARYAN, I don't doubt Netanyahoo is fine with a few of his kikes dying in the attacks so he can claim them as martyrs. Though, if it starts resembling Iraqi whack-a-mole... IRGC is a massive organization that has penetrated the entirety of fucking Iran and neighboring states. Eradicating it seems like a one hell of a challenge.
Probably until either those left in command wave a white flag or Congress tries invoking the War Powers act.
