For what it's worth, I've heard nothing but wonderful news about the collapse of Islam in Iran for the last 5 years. It makes sense, too. When you have a theocracy, approval of religion becomes intertwined with secular politics: if you're upset with gas prices you're upset with the Mullahs. But yeah, I've heard Christian missionaries have been in a feeding frenzy over there, so it's not just speculation.
I'd also like to note, if Trump creates an enduring pro-western government in Iran, he will be committing one of the biggest achievements in history. Let me walk you through Iranian-western relations the last 3 millenniums.
Ancient Greece: the Achaemenid empire tries to conquer, with mixed results thanks to the Spartans. Alexander gets the honor of being the only westerner to conquer them, and eventually they become a Seleucid state. This will be the one exception so far.
Ancient Rome: Parthia and later the Sassanids act as the Russia to Rome's America. Rome comes close a few times, but never manages to conquer them.
Middle Ages: Arabs conquer Iran, admittedly they become worthless for a long time during this period because they're cucked by Arabs and Turks, but they are still firmly in the Dar-El-Islam.
Early Modern: Iran sees a resurgence, oppose the west primarily in southeast Asia by offering troops to local Muslims.
Modern Era: the Brits create an unpopular puppet government in Iran, it gets overthrown and creates the Islamic Republic we know today.
That's almost 3 thousand years the West has been trying to control or ally with Iran. The closest we got is a temporary puppet government. If Trump manages to create an uncoerced ally of them, it will put him on the same level as Alexander and Nicator.
Rev up those rainbows lads, I'm feeling optimistic!
