I've seen things you kitties wouldn't believe

I don’t think Iran is exactly third world. From everyone I’ve talked to from there, quality of life is pretty close to a low ish income European country, like Greece or the poorer southern parts of Italy.

And maybe this is a 🌶️ take, but I think the Persians are as much European as the southern Italians.

No, they are much darker and rapier than Italians. A few of them are intellectual but they primarily behave like any other Muslims.

I don't know if the Ayatollah is dead, but sperging out and bombing all the Gulf countries—and obvious civilian targets, at that—is not a good way for Iran to appear like it's the poor victim of zionist aggression. It just makes people in the Gulf realize that Iran was planning on doing something like this the entire time. It's like the third worldist version of the Samson Option, but less effective and much more spergy and retarded.
Iran has openly said, basically for decades at this point, that if they get attacked by Israel or the USA they would retaliate by bombing the fuck out of the gulf states, their oil/military infrastructure, US military infrastructure and that they would close the strait of hormuz.

They have always been extremely open about this threat and persistent in repeating it:

Its kind of funny in a sense since its basically the only time a world leader/ideology promised something and actually delivered it - but it wasn't an upgrade to the failing hospital in your neighborhood, it was a retaliatory strike against civilian stuff.

Right, but last time they just did a pre-warned explosion at a US base in the Gulf. This time, they're flying drones at civilian apartments. It's abundantly clear now to any intelligent observer in the Gulf that Iran actually would just start exploding their cities if they wanted to and had the capability—not just foreign military assets.
