Remove subscriptions and any way to choose what you want to watch. It'll be nothing but videos YouTube wants you to watch with an unskippable three minute ad every minute of the video. All of which will be fixed through uBlock filters and extensions within ten minutes leaving normies pissed off.

I watch youtube in trannyfox with adnauseum on grapheneos and it's mostly fine, but as of recently when I search for a video -- say for instance, Eminence Front by The Who -- when I click on the video in the search results, which is a single video and not a playlist, the shithead faggot retard jeets at kikepipe have decided that it should be a playlist or """"""Mix"""""" anyway.

I have tried some trannyfox addons that hide """""""""""Mixes"""""""""""" from search results, but that isn't helpful because due to the shekel grubbing enshitification of the shitsmeared mongoloids vibe coding this garbage heap and personally making me racist, that's every result.

Does anyone know of an addon or something that will strip the stupid fucking horseshit from the URLs when I open them, like how they strip the ID string or whatever?

I'd rather not have to use a separate app.

Also worth noting that this seems to only happen when I'm not signed in. But I like not being signed in because why the fuck should I sign in.

I remember saying to someone fourteen years ago(!) that I liked youtube for what it was but everything they do seemed to just shit things up for the end user for no reason other than "lol fuk u." And now today I notice that the top line of videos on the subscription page isn't the most recent, but now the "most relevant." Continuing a tradition of excrement there I see.

What is the point of doing this? They gain nothing from this.

I also came here to complain about this. The subscriptions tab is my fucking sacred cow and I am fucking MATI every time they lay their poo-stained jeet hands on it. Just keep your retarded experiments on the Home tab where absolute majority of users stay in the first place. I do not need a "Most Relevant" tab in my subscriptions tab because guess what - THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT THE SUBSCRIPTIONS TAB IS FOR IN THE FIRST PLACE. I don't subscribe to channels which aren't relevant to me like a mentally impaired mouth-breather who does so because the talking head in the video I just watched told me to do so, I don't need this fucking space-wasting redundancy (which doesn't even list the videos chronologically, by the way).

I fucking hate YouTube.

FreeTube remains fucked on both my Windows and Linux machines, whether behind a VPN or not. Guess I'll have to wait them out.

I noticed GrayJay earlier today had some momentary issues with downloading videos -- I was getting cipher errors -- but a restart of the application seemed to work.

Analog TV had ads and limited choices, but at least the ads were skippable when taping and less disruptive. Also, TV worked on any TV.

Also, back when color TV started, there was even backwards compatibility with black-and-white TVs. No having to always upgrade to see.

There was a YT plugin update for Grayjay a few hours ago, and it's currently working fine for video playback and download, however audio-only download formats have been AWOL for a few days now.
