Despite losing on every single count, that didn't stop the GLP releasing a bizarre press statement claiming that they had actually won, that the law now says that none-workplace toilets need to admit trannies, and the draft guidance needs to be rewritten. None of this is true.

The irony is that the longer they continue to argue total nonsense, the more people are going to turn against their cult and the "harsher" the restrictions are going to be against them.

Senate Substitute for House Bill 244 was overturned by the Senate, with votes falling along party lines. “Issues like this bill make us a less attractive place for businesses to relocate and start,” she said. “We are poised to host the 2026 FIFA World Cup in just over 100 days. The World Cup is supposed to bring millions of dollars to our region, and we should not be putting that economic impact at risk by playing political games in fighting culture wars.”

A miniscule percentage of the population, who are pretty much unemployable anyway, being put back where they belong is going to stop businesses from moving there?
I'd argue that any business that stupid isn't one that would be wanted anyway.

My question is what or how did public opinion change? TIPs are an extremely tiny minority. Most ppl dont encounter them most of the time, so why such a big swing in support? Was it really because of how they are online? If so then I wonder if they'll blame bots and trolls pretending to be trans people for why support went down

I'll be fair and say that "trans" is just a symptom, or an indicator. The real issue here is that it tends to attract cluster b personalities and on top of it emboldens them (which is why it's so attractive in the first place). The "solution" to this could either be to have them undergo serious psychiatric evaluation and basically ban people with cluster b personality / autism from transitioning. The other alternative would be to de-medicalize it altogether and just say it's a personal choice on how an individual presents themselves, but no one is obligated to entertain that notion.

Of course that won't happen because in the trans movement you have cluster b personalities who've literally chopped off their genitals for this. They won't let go of that brief moment of extreme entitlement they had for a few very weird years. I expect more violence.

On Tuesday night, a spokesman for NYU Langone issued a statement citing “the current regulatory environment” as among the reasons the hospital had decided to discontinue its program for gender-related care for youth. “Given the recent departure of our medical director, coupled with the current regulatory environment, we made the difficult decision to discontinue our Transgender Youth Health Program,” according to the statement, which was provided by an NYU Langone spokesman, Steve Ritea."
