Because using social media is making any changes to the political situation ? Of course not.
Online political commentators are notoriously stupid and rely on short attention spans for hits. Don't rely on any of them. You get better political pulse checks by going outside and talking to real people.
There is no third option, a third party is never going to win an election in the United States, all you can do is change the trajectory of the party by voting for the right ones. That's what happened to the Democrats.
