I would have to do the turn-on list about women (the thread says men only so not sure if that's allowed) but I actually have a lot, to be fair. I was just venting off some steam, and I think it was obvious my post was meant more in jest than anything. I don't think any of those things I listed amount to the worth of a person. And lord knows I have my own flaws - I have definitely exhibited some of those qualities myself before, a lot of that stuff is situational and everyone is nervous or awkward for instance from time to time... but boy can they be annoying when I'm trying to find out if someone is compatible with me or not.

And the thing about astrology should have tipped you off that I was talking solely about other women - to my immeasurable disappointment a lot of lesbians are really into it... :(

You can post about your turn ons if you want, I only specified the men only part because we don't want moids shitting up the thread talking about bobs and vagene. I know lesbians have their own thread here so I assumed lesbian FemKiwis made that their hang out spot in Gorl Tawk. You could make your own Green Flag thread as well, as it's more substantial than just a turn on list.

Oh, don't worry, I wasn't offended. :) And I can understand why you thought that. What I had intended to come off as joking/tongue-in-cheek clearly came off differently.

We do, but tbh I was bored and just wanted some threads to contribute to. This seemed like a fun one, and I'll take a look at the new green flags thread that was just made. Thanks for your reply, I appreciate it.

Eh, my issues with it might be slightly different than a man's. I actually think it's fun and I know my sun sign and whole chart even, and I don't mind if someone just wants to casually discuss it and have fun with it. Also, I've definitely known people that really match their sign (I think it's coincidence that they do, personally, but hey who knows...). The issue is I just think some women take it way too seriously and I don't think it's ever helpful for them. When you start trying to base major decisions off your horoscope, when a bad prediction on the astrology app makes you anxious, when you start to internalize the bad qualities of your sign ("Well Aries are impulsive so that means I can't ever work on my self-control, it's just who I am") etc etc... that's when I think it's gone too far. And that is what gives me the ick, the idea that a woman is overly obsessed with something that is only negatively affecting her life.

Porn addiction having become the problem that it is today is almost frightening. It used to be a more niche thing, where guys (and gals tbf, Playgirl was a thing) could enjoy the idealized body form, but still disconnect from it knowing it's not realistic at all times. Now, with how common and accessible porn is, it's actually warped and poisoned the mind of many people as to what their ideal partner should not only look like, but actually act like in bed. And it's ease of consumption means these mental blocks happen at a younger and younger age, making it much harder to repair over time.
 
I think it's icky when men list Lana Del Ray as a favorite artist. To be fair I also think SHES icky. Lol.

I blocked some loser I was talking to recently because of that, and because he said "American Beauty" was one of his fav movies.
