Trump wrote some bullshit in the Wallstreet Journal trying to defend the tariffs. He tried citing a study saying others were paying for the tariffs, the study says how it's raising prices for Americans as prices gradually were increased to pass the cost of tariffs onto them while also raising costs for domestic goods.

Bob Dole was also a war hero. Was injured in WW II but never brought it up.
