I think that's true but not the whole picture. A secular, forward-looking, pro-West and generally civilized Iran like what the Shah's empire used to be like would mean the West (primarily the US) would no longer have any reason to uphold its ties to Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the other sandnigger kingdoms, and certainly no reason to tolerate their state-supported terrorism (while Hezbollah, Hamas & the Houthis will already wither to dust with their own Iranian lifeline being cut by Pahlavi or a newly elected gov't in Tehran, the Saudis as we well know are tied to all sorts of sandnigger terrorists; Qatar is in deep with the Muslim Brotherhood & friends, etc.). With the main Shiite sponsor of terrorism eliminated, America would also be free to complete its geostrategic pivot vs. China in East Asia, meaning a lot fewer assets & bases are needed in the Mideast.
If MBS, the Emir of Qatar, and others want to keep the Western $$$ and luxuries flowing, Western bases on their soil (so they can afford to keep their own armies in a shitty & easily controlled state, like the Saudi one which had access to all sorts of Western arms but was pretty ineffective against the Houthis) and Western eyes forced to turn away from their own shady business in the name of containing the greater threat posed by the Mullahs of Iran - and of course they do - it is absolutely in their interest to keep the Mullahs in charge. Or, at the very least, make Pahlavi & the Iranian people work much harder at higher cost to get rid of them.

IMO it would greatly benefit the middle eastern nations AND europe as destroying the regime would cut funding for the houthi, reduce their operation and slowly open up the red sea.
oh and benefit Israel by further choking Hamas.
EDIT: The middle east doesn't see this because they are scared shitless for any possibility of instability no matter how small.

What is everyone's feeling on these fairly transparent attempts to manipulate Trump by continually re-emphasizing how he's totally already committed to this course of action because he is the Bestest President and there's no way the Bestest President would sit out this fight?

In fact Pahlavi has no sons, only three daughters. The second daughter is the one who married a Jew. The eldest daughter (would be his heiress if he changes the Iranian imperial succession law to allow women to inherit the crown) is still unmarried and could presumably get hitched to an Artesh general's or other important Iranian powerbroker's son to secure their support for a monarchic restoration, if that's deemed necessary. This Noor Pahlavi however was born in the US and is a Western-style modern liberal with ties to feminist, alphabet soup, Jewish & Jewish gay feminist groups.
If you rule out female succession, the heir to the Iranian throne then would be Pahlavi's cousin Patrick Ali. Dude's half-Polish and also seems to be a standard American(ized) liberal, he has studied and/or converted to Buddhism, Hinduism, Judaism, Christianity (not sure what kind) and the Islam of his birth over the decades.
(Incidentally, Iran did have empresses-regnant in the pre-Islamic times: specifically, the rival Sassanid empresses Azarmidokht and Boran. Islam obviously doesn't allow women to rule anywhere in their own right, however if Pahlavi were to become Shah again and want to really break hard with the Islamic past & rules and/or he doesn't think Patrick Ali could rule, amending the succession law so his daughters can inherit is a possibility.)

If Trump is like every old Boomer man I've ever had to deal with the only way to get him to do something is to make him think it was his idea to begin with because he thinks he's the smartest and bestest person for the job and everyone else, especially people younger than him, are stupid. People trying to push him to do something will only piss him off. He's going to hit Iran when he's assured that it'll topple the Ayatollah and not threaten us and Israel too badly. He's starting to care less and less what the house of Saud and the other Gulf states think because he's now in control of 55% of the world's proven oil reserves and Saudi Arabia is trying to get both a Paki-Turkey and an Egypt-Somalia alliance going to move away from relying on us to defend them. I'm sure those alliances will be iron-clad and they won't backstab each other. Look at the United Arab Republic, it still stands today as a shining example of how the Muslim world can unite!

Yes, the current succession law (in force since the early 1900s) stipulates that a prince must be a Muslim man with an Iranian citizen mother (but also that the mother can't be a Qajar) to be eligible for the throne.
Honestly I can see a restored Shah Reza II amending the succession law to allow female inheritance just for simplicity's sake, it's not terribly clear whether Patrick Ali's own mother was naturalized in time for him to meet that 'non-Qajar Iranian mother' requirement and even if she were, his own wife doesn't seem to be an Iranian citizen and so their own kids' succession is in question. Also that dumbass opposed his uncle to such an extreme that despite being an Iranian prince by birth, Mohammad Reza eventually threw him in jail shortly before the revolution, I'd bet a dime there's as much bad blood between him & Pahlavi as there was between the senior Romanovs and the junior Vladimirovichi branch (closest blood heirs to Nicholas II since all his kids were killed with him, hated by actual Russian monarchists & their own relatives for supporting the February Revolution and generally being decadent vodkaniggers to the point that the White Russians wanted to enthrone a more distant Romanov cousin over them if they'd defeated the Bolsheviks).
