Anyone whose been paying attention knows that nothing is actually going to change. Kennedy may have been the face, but the rot with Star Wars is not all due to one person. Besides, Filoni has repeatedly shit the bed ever since George handed him the reins to the 2008 Clone Wars show

Filoni signed off on the Fagolyte as head creative furry or whatever his gay ass title was.

Star Wars as an IP is too destroyed to bring back.

Kennedy's departure was long overdue, she has already destroyed too much beyond repair.

Yet she's still there. It's no different than the 500 other times she's leaving any day now, until she's actually gone for good.

And even then, there's a lot of cleaning up to do, and I don't know if the other people who will supposedly be taking over can do that.

edit: For fucks sake, so her even being "gone" doesn't change anything since she'll be shitting things up for at least another 2 years.
Kennedy is not departing the galaxy far, far away immediately. As part of her exit, she will continue on as a producer on the next two Lucasfilm movies, The Mandalorian and Grogu, coming May 22, and 2027’s Star Wars: Starfighter.

I'll take white Darth Vader or play as Ronald McDonald wielding dual lightsabers in a deathmatch in Jedi Academy over whatever the hell Lucasfilm is releasing these days. Good luck to them making quality content post episode 9, though.

Rep Comm had a sequel planned but it hinged on Traviss finishing the book series and she departed when Filoni took a big cry baby dump on the Mandalorian culture she was building in her books. We were supposed to see a younger Boba trapsing around the under levels of Coruscant too in 1313 but that also was lost to the void.

Sabine, and Mando, is Filoni backpedaling on earlier messaging because his temper tantrum canon twisting couldn't kill the popularity of the Mandalorians in fandom and costuming circles. The man has got a Midas touch of fecal matter, smh.

Satine might of been a compelling character with old Mandalorian lore instead of being Aryan Pacifist Knock Off Padme.

I don't understand why as a company you buy a property with dozens of pre-made stories that were well beloved and would be easy adaption fodder and just wipe it all away to make what was often a 'we have star wars at home' version of the content.

Deeply miss all the great characters and storylines of the dark horse comics under Jan Duursema and John Ostrander. Marvel and Disney could never.

Good lord. Seeing the post about a 25,000 BBY movie sounded bad enough because some mysteries should just be left as that. But then she likes a script from the idiot who wrote Dial of Destiny?

In addition to her not actually leaving and sticking around for at least 2 more years fucking things up... why does she hate Lucasfilm so much? If it were sheer randomness or lack of caring, she couldn't have been this disastrous to the IPs. I know, it's because she's a progressive feminist piece of shit, but to have let her run shit this far down the drain, and still keep her around after leaving when all people want is real star wars is insanity.
